when someone complains about vol’jin dying to a mob, tell them this.
Did you know there’s a memorial in her honour at the cemetery in Stormwind?
Yes, but Vol’jin was a well renowned Shadowhunter who aided in the take down of Garrosh.
Anduin’s mother was a simple queen, little more.
I did not know this. Will surely check it out first thing tomorrow. Thanks
So the rock killed his mother.
Sounds to me like World of Warcraft: Royal Rumble, confirmed.
Where, if you’re lucky, you can occasionally find the Honorable Saugfang Paying his Respects to her.
To give context to those who care but don’t know what happened - after the First War, Stormwind was razed by the Horde. They were able to reclaim Stormwind after the Second War, but it had to be rebuilt. The House of Nobles, at that time ruled by King Varian Wrynn, asked the Stonemasons’ Guild (led by Edwin VanCleef — does that name ring a bell?) to rebuild Stormwind. They did, but the House of Nobles refused to pay the costs after the job was done.
This caused some uprisings in Stormwind, which resulted in the formation of the Defias Brotherhood, led by - guess what - VanCleef. During one of those uprisings, angry protesters threw rocks to the authorities, and they accidentally (because Tiffin Wrynn supported the Stonemasons Guild, and wanted them to be compensated for their work) hit Tiffin, after which she died.
Varian, obviously, was furious and started to fight back. The Defias Brotherhood fled Stormwind, and they went into hiding in Westfall, promising that they would one day rise against the King again, and claim the kingdom for their own.
How do you not know the story of the royal family and the defias brotherhood?
Edit: and Onyxia
So basically this:
?
Ma Wrynn as she was known is derived from the Gaelic word Marwriin which means ‘magical goddess’ so don’t underestimate her powers they were just abandoned/conveniently forgotten for horde bias as usual.
I’m pretty sure none of that is true.
Tis all true i tells ya granny mcswagnuts told me upon her deathbed.
And how is i got caught out after only 4 minutes.
Was it a Happy Fun Rock?
Reminds me how you can kill Lord British with a loose brick in Ultima 7.
