When I upgraded Anima Conductor rank 3 and unlocked new channels. I picked up that rare with 700 m hp, couldnt solo so well so I made group. Rare dropped 35 anima? What? Is it all? What kind of joke is it? There is one more thing that gives you only buff? This one?
I wasted 10k anima and It doesnt give anything good and it is rank 3. It is completetly fail. Can you tell us about it? Are you trolling us? I am not kidding so please stop doing like this useless anima conductor rank 3? Make sure rank 3 offers better than rank 2 soon, thanks!
I find the information that upgrading to rank 3 is a waste of anima very useful. So thanks for the information. Your wasted anima will serve as a warning for us in the future. Your sacrifice will be remembered.
I also can drop a mount. Sure, you can buy the mount for 5k anima and save 5k that way but… It’s more exciting to have a small drop chance and get it, right?

Waste of anima?
Depends of your point of view. The anima is only good for cosmetics; if you dont want to buy recolors or upgrade your covenant armor (the time you could unlock the R3 conductor, you outgaered that most of the time) but want that mog/mount/etc and don’t want to wait untill soemone else makes a group? “Worth” it
Saving anima is as much “pointless” as upgrading the conductor to be honest
But just my opinion
Unlocking R3 conductor and having 4 beams permanently chanelled allows you to buy the legendary gambler item. That’s the most useful thing out of it.
Pretty much all of the covenant sanctum upgrades are for QoL and collectibles, and unless you are after those, it’s not really worth upgrading anything.
And indeed! I was going by the wowhead article, which said Grateful Offerings require R3, which is clearly not the case. So R3 conductor is 100% useless for anything but collectibles, then.
And in maldraxxus you’ll actually have to kill all 4 of threater of pain minibosses in order to fight the rare. And in order to even get the rare to appear in the roster you’ll have to go and pick the quest up and…I mean it’s a freaking waste of time. At least you get an achievement for it.
For the “Bet on yourself” daily - if you want a decent Anime income, that chain is a must! - you usually have to kill them anyhow; its pretty rare you can jump in the arena and a team killing that boss you need. 90% of the time, you start from scratch…
Waste of time, maybe, but lets to be honest here - and I’m not defending this, mind you, just sayin’ - a 5 man team fills up in a coupple of sec and steamroll the full rooster in a few min, tops
I mean it takes longer to fly to oribos from the sanctum than you complate the daily and the quest
The Venthry one? In Dominance keep? In the far end of the elite zone, with a tons of million hp Forgemaster? Abyssmall droprate and no tied daily with 3x35 anima token with it? Yeah, thats brutal…
