Anima farming

35 for a m+ or a single raid boss on any difficulty, while a single recoloured transmog piece costs 3500?

This is straight ridiculous and almost insulting. When are we expected to complete the “renown” transmog sets? In anno domini 2030, when the outdated wow engine finally gives up?

You got 2 years to get your recolored transmogs, no need to rush.

If you do all content on average you get 1k+ anima per day excluding mythic dungeons and raids. Just weekly, daily and world quests. Easy stuff like heroic etc. And grab chests or kill rates along the way if there is one next to you. Be active.

That takes so much time for a “game”

Weekly pvp quests and daily Bg wins are good way to farm anima, u have 250 for wining rated BG, every day…

Lmao imagine doing all that boring sht every day, like every single world quests every single day, are there really people torturing themselves like that?

I’m making ~4-5k anima a week with ease: weekly dungeons, world boss, the 250 anima WQs, Bet on Yourself daily, and the rest: mission table. There’s no need to farm the WQs, and you can still buy a piece a week, with some leftover.

Wait for catch system in next patches.

I’ll complete it as soon at the last 3 pieces come out, chill.

You don’t need to do all. I don’t either. I am not crazy. I only do wqs that give minimum 2x35 anima, epic wqs with 250 anima, easy dailies that give 2x35 anima, weeklies that give anima ( dungeons), pvp I avoid it annoys me. Chests and rares I do if they are next to me. What I forgot?

World boss of course. Anima from mythic and raid is automatic haha. Horrible 35 anima, I know. Plus I love revendreth. When you do dailies there there is a high chance of getting quest for 35 anima.

A lot of anima for very small effort.

Often I get 3 or 4x35 anima for 30 seconds or 1 minute spent on a quest. Choose the easiest ones.

For example, the set I’m wearing costs 25k anima. Took me 2.5 weeks to get it.

If you want to focus all of your game time on M+ and raid, that’s fine. But don’t expect to get rewards for ALL of the game when you are only playing a very specific part of the game. I don’t run raid or dungeons, but don’t cry about not having access to those mounts etc.

You don’t have to do “every single WQ every single day” because most WQs don’t even reward anima to begin with, so if you don’t care about gold and mediocre loot, you can completely skip those and sometimes elite WQ pop up that grant 250 anima.
What I do… is going herbing (which I have to do for consumables anyway) and doing the 2-3 world quests that give meaningful anima, so basically I’m multi-tasking.
Besides, if you absolutely HATE the WQs, you can easily get a couple thousand anima just by doing the weekly dungeon and pvp quests, and the anima you get from raids/dungeons/pvp anyway.

I think many of us are working under the assumption that there will be increased Anima at some point (as our efforts in Shadowlands eases The Drought). So hopefully in 9.1 there will be an increaded supply of Anima and a flood of the stuff in 9.2.
I’m doing the 1k for the weekly quest and not getting any more. I haven’t upgrade any buildings nor my gear all the way yet. But in the future I’ll likely be able to do these things.

And if we don’t get this anticipated flood then we won’t get all the nice things until 2030 but meh…

i would have thought we’re already past that point xD the foundations the game is currently built on must be shaky as hell! xD

whether you’re being serious or not, blizz will pick on you as their excuse why they keep implementing these terrible decisions. dont encourage them.

how much time is this taking though? seriously, what portion of a persons time is this, especially for cosmetics. and remember, anima is used far more than resources were in the last 3 expansions. the amount of collectibles that need anima is shocking.

very true. im not aware that anything has been said. people are just basing this on the past and on common sense due to the criminally low anima drops. hopefully there will be either a significant increase of anima drops, or preferably, a significant decrease in cost of anima items.

like blizzard cares about lore and gameplay anymore

It takes around 1 hour and sometimes a bit more if we talk about open world content. I can time if you would like but doesn’t take entire day for sure. I combine it with herbing- multitask.

tell me what you are proposing and sometime i will time it. cause, if we’re talking about dungeons, then they can be 15-30 mins prob, and if we’re talking pvp, then its dependent. i’ve lost the first 3 bg’s today, and currently this one dont look fantastic, though the horde have things on their side recently for ashrann.

There is an anima drought
So… that explains that i guess

There is the Weekly WB - 250 Anima
Every week at least 2x 250 anima quest pops up (sometimes more)
Bet on yourself 3x 35 Anima
Then snipe the easy and quick at least 2-3x35 anima quests (like the Centurion protecting in Bastion, or the ‘make and aspirant out of you’ that basically just follow the instructor… ) there are literally tons of quick and easy WQ-s (like the grab a dredger and clear 3 rubble, or the gather 10 anima cones as a moth) around with very decent anima income
And just ignore the rest
Not to mention the Epic BG, random BG win/day (you need to farm honor anyway for the weekly pvp from verious sorves, arena, ebg, bg…)
And the weekly normal and ranked pvp quest each for 250 anima (sometimes the weekly event gives 250 too)
And the two Broker’s quest for a dungeon item - normal is enough - at the basement in Oribos
You don’t even have to grind THAT hard and have your daily ~1000 anima in an hour (half if you skip the pvp)
The weekly anima is around 10K

Just realized something lol…wow…

The only reason for the anima drought is so they can say “ReeEeEe ANimE dRouGHt guyZ” whenever someone points out how pathetic the amounts that drop are…

Jesus lol …some game eh ?

Thing is, if we were able to obtain more anima, people would’ve unlocked every upgrade, and bought every mog by now, and the forums would be full of whine threads about how the Covenant sanctum is now useless.

See the whines by those who rushed through the mission table campaign and are now stuck. Same would happen if we had more anima income.

People should just accept that they won’t be unlocking everything at the start of an expansion, and some things will take time. Rather than farming every last bit of anima, they should just play the game normally, and unlock the anima rewards anyway, at a bit later date.

I find the current anima income nice: I get enough to do the weekly 1k and more, with very minimal extra work. It feels that I don’t feel the need to farm it explicitly. Would it be more farmable, the urge to do that instead of enjoying the game would be an issue for many.
