Just came back from a long break to prepare for Dragon flight and I was hoping the anima grind was made account of wide or at least faster but nope it’s still extremely tedious.
I have 3 characters I wanted to max out and get the transmog a for but it’s just killed all motivation.
I’ve done some crappy rep grinds over the years but the anima grind is a soul killer.
I’ve just cancelled my sub. I guess the good thing about DF is it’s going to be more of what you want to do and less chores. It doesn’t help old content though.
Oh and solo warfronts when? I’m missing two pieces for the next epic set. Why does it take two or three expansions for quality of life changes?
You can just get anima on one char and then buy an anima token and send it to other chars to buy stuff. It is 1000 anima per token and the alt receives 1000 anima.
They also added renown catch up for alts which costs 500g and gets your alts to lvl 60 renown.
The vendor is next to the flight master in oribos.
It’s not really a big deal to farm anima since Zereth Mortis added. You get like 1.5k anima every day by doing dailies and world quests. If that’s not enough for you, try Korthia and that’s another 1k anima. 2.5k anima in an hour is pretty decent I think. After a certain point, you don’t know what to do with all those anima and they just keep getting bigger and bigger.
Had the grind been fun i wouldnt have quit and needed to play catch up. A game should be fun the anima grind is not!
I have no problem grinding things out but when you have only an hour each night to play and its taken up with busy work then you may as well play something else, which i did!
something I’ll do someday for the achievements. I only have my buildings at rank 1 on one sanctum. I have 60k on my main but doing all the buildings would blow that in one go for buildings I don’t really want or need.
Not a fun system.
Well no offense but in this case your comment was as unnecessary as the topic so why respond to it?
In any case since its about grinding anima efficient, what i guess this is all about, in order to well catch up on sanctum upgrades i suggest simply farm rare mobs and treasures in Zereth Mortis there should either still enough players on your realm in that zone to help with rares or simply look in the dungeon tool for rare farm groups
treasures are something to pick up while waiting for the next rare spawn
with that method you can get relatively fast the anima needed for the upgrades
but if you wanna upgrade all your covenants sanctums at least bring one sanctum to level 3 to get the anima boost with the archivement.
otherwise look for some anima left on other chars / covenants if there is 1k you can buy the token and send it to the desired char to boost some anima inc
