Anima Rewards Increased

I think it was unlikely they’d increase M plus or Raid gains after they were already buffed. I also think it’s worked in the favour of people trying to do low keys because when players need more valor they can just queue for quick easy keys and help others out.

The point is to “encourage” everyone to upgrade their Sanctums to T3, which I’m guessing a fair few players have not.

According to Wowhead, they’re also affected by these achievements.

Yes but they don’t scale by key level or raid difficulty as some would like. It’s just a flat buff dependent on your ranks in your sanctum.

Any word from blizzard yet to make this account wide? alot of people if not all is literally begging them to make this account wide both here and on the US forum. Who wouldnt want this to be account wide anyway ? Please blizzard its been a rough patch lately, you know it… and the people need this, we need you to make us happy. Make it account wide or maybe make it like a event up to 9.1 all alts will benefit from it, that would be a smart move to keep people subbed imo

Whilst I would love for it to be account wide, I don’t think they’ll change it. There is always going to be a ‘make you play’ metric of some kind.

But we can hope!

It is what it is ,i did not want to waste AP on upgrading mission table but i will now and with AP being boosted in 9.1 via renown level it will come pretty quick i assume .

Don’t think this will do what they intended in that case. I think this will be happily applauded by those already doing the grind but I don’t think this meager increase will encourage anyone not already doing the grind. It will take 120 WQs to pay for the first tier of upgrades and the other tiers are way more expensive so the number of WQs to pay for them will be horrendous to contemplate…

OK, it seems they made calculations with 9.1 gains in mind ,so yeah it make more sense now.

With this coming as well I’m more than happy with the amount of anima rewards.

I think this could be right. I know that when I looked at the prices of everything (but especially the covenant upgrades) I just thought to myself “There is no way this is final state of this currency”.
It might actually feel worth doing in 9.1, I’ll re-evaluate when I see it then. With Flying and increased anima rewards the equation will be considerably different.

is it worth me upgrading conduit/portal/adventures now then?

i am lvl 2 for conduit & portals, and lvl 1 for adventures. my unique building (queens conservatory) is lvl 4.

my main goal is to get queens lvl 5. i am not building anything else currently to save anima, and as my souls are capped at 100, im getting 500 extra anima a week rather than 20 souls from the quest.

is the anima increase for being all lvl 2 or all lvl 3 significant enough cause basically going this route means i am going to actually be building queens level 5 last, putting it 5th in line to be built rather than 1st:

  • 1st - level 2 adventure
  • 2nd - 4th - level 3 conduit/portal/adventure
  • 5th - level 5 queens.

As long as changing Covenants wipes your progress entirely I won’t be bothering with anything anima related that is not forced. The likelihood that I will feel a need to change due to a future patch, to either the Covenant itself or to my spec, is simply too high to justify significant time investment. Buffing anima rewards is not enough to change things.

even knowing that i will never change covenant, anima spent to upgrade the mission table feel incredibly wasted.
Even if in time it will pay itself back it feels very bad, spending anima for something I don’t need, when blizz could click a button and give us a decent flow of anima without making us waste it first.

I was hovering my mouse on that command table upgrade button earlier, trying to convinve myself that on the long run it is the efficient choice, but it really felt bad, I have to choose: play for weeks knowing that I’m less efficient than i could be, or waste a ton of anima to be more efficient, but reach my goal ( capping the conservatory) more or less at the same time.
so i logged off my main and went to play alts XD

hope so because on my venthyr warrior i have 7,9k anima
and im not upgrading anything
only finished court for the sanctum achievement

They’re probably anticipating the power shift in covenants that’s inevitably coming in 9.1, meaning a lot of people need to rework their covenants. These are no accidents  Fun system!

But there is no power gain in the upgrades or anima itself.
