Annealed Honey Amulet - Bee Mount starter

Hi guys

Has anyone had trouble getting this to drop? I’ve been killing ridiculous numbers of Bumbling Bees, Flowing Honeys and Bubbling Meads and had nothing for a few days now. Just a load of trash and no amulet. I’ve contacted Blizz and they say if it doesn’t happen after a few more days get in touch.

I feel like I’ve been to the GP with a difficult illness and been fobbed off and told to come back if it’s still there in a week.

As far as I know I’ve completed all the standard quests in the area of Stormsong and got the storyline achievement so I can’t think of any other reason than a bug maybe. Also could it be a phasing issue perhaps. Either way it’s looking like I’ve no way to get my Bee mount until this gets fixed.

Anyone else had this problem and been on the verge of giving up altogether?

EDIT NOTE: I’m not silly enough to be trying this on a Blood Elf by the way. I’m playing with my Worgen Warrior. :+1:

I didn’t have much problem getting it. Some people who said they did, already had the item in their bank/bags, which is why it wasn’t dropping for them.

You can bypass it by buying the bee pet from the storms wake faction NPC if I recall right.

NP, if you have a character on aszune/shadowsong realm (or make one to meet me) I could trade you for free one of my spare bee pets even lol.

Or check the AH even, somebody may be selling the bee pet.

Recently it took me about 1½ to 2 hours to get that to drop. No idea why you have been so unlucky, but I hope your luck changes. :slight_smile:

Ah cool. I’m not quite revered yet for Storms Wake. I’m now wondering if that could be the problem. Maybe it only drops if you’re revered?

Not gonna lie it took me about 3 hours killing those neutral bees close to Millstone Hamlet. But RNG is RNG i guess…
