Starting at Level 30, players will be able to queue into the LFR difficulty of Blackrock Depths! Furthermore, players will be able to cross-faction queue into this raid instance! For Normal and Heroic, players will need to be at least Level 70.
However, when I tried to join a group with a level 70 character it was impossible to queue the group. I tried later by myself, the game said that I don’t meet the requirements.
Is the Wowhead post wrong with the level requirements and you need level 80 instead? Is it required to buy War Within first?
I tried to comb through internet discussions, found conflicting information so I would like to ask if someone knows of an authoritative source (Blizzard blue post for example.)
You need to be level 80 to enter normal and heroic versions of Blackrock Depths. Although I’d recommend 590+ ilvl for normal and 610+ ilvl for heroic, due to the performance requirements.
Well, as I mentioned, I was hoping for some authoritative answer but I guess that there’s either none, or no one happened to find both such an article (or blue post or something like that) and this thread.
That would have been nice but lets be real here. You, me, and everyone else in these forums knew that wasn’t gonna happen. I have seen maybe 2 blue responses in like the last months and thats it.
These are the EU forums, we dont get blued.
Of course, I wasn’t expecting to get a blue reply right here in this thread, especially on a weekend. What I was hoping for was (for example) a link to a blue post somewhere else. The thought was that I’m not the only person who doesn’t have the time for buying into and playing the latest expansion but wants to take part in the anniversary content - ie. that maybe someone else asked before me somewhere and got an official reply.
