So far I saw my guild reputation that was exalted since like 15 years has been reset to neutral.
I saw the timewalking gear pieces that i had went from iLvL 450 to 402.
And after killing the 3 world bosses in tanaris I can’t open the reward chest cause I’m only lvl 70.
What’s next you gonna reset my mount journal to zero maybe…?

That’s because you’re level 70, and timewalking gear now scales to my knowledge.

well there is a quest in tanaris which asks you to kill the 3 world bosses, and the weekly chest it rewards can’t be opened by a lvl 70.
then why give me that quest…?
it should say you’re too low lvl for that quest or someting…

I’m not 80 yet, only 76 (a combination of a couple of trips and me being quite slow). I’ll likely be 80 before the end of this event but still don’t want to miss out on some event time.
Also is there no Celebration Package with a 20% rep and xp buff?
Then I’m also guessing that’s a bug? Pretty big oversight it if it isn’t.
that’s quite a lot of bugs at once, not much to celebrate so far, especially as someone who gave up on this game since dreanor, all i want to do is unsub again and never look back tbh 
The reward chest is the same as the ones from the events that spawn after you do 3 wqs in the relevant zone (2 per week). You can stockpile them and open them when you hit lvl 80.
As to the celebration package, there isn’t one, what there is, is an acct wide 10% xp bonus plus a daily quests in Tanaris for an extra 10% buff that lasts 12 hours.

I wanna grind out all rewards by spamming lfg dungeons. Alas I’ll have to do other things. I’ll see how I get on.
I do hear a lot of the pve stuff is bugging right now. So might wanna wait a day to see what works or needs fixin
even the forum seems to bug, the shaman alt that is used to post my message has been lvl 70 for like 2 weeks now
