Annoying bot may ruin burning steppes quests

Warning: If you’re on chromie time and warmode. Expect some quests in burning steppes to be impossible, there’s a bot farming ads. They are stupid and killable, but they’re also level 60.

I’ve killed them a few times. But be warned. Some bots will mass report you if you gank them, and automated systems will ban you.

This is INSANE. Blizzards bots, are taking the side of gold farming bots.

So while killing them is great, good ridance to them… They might kill your account, permanently.

Please, if everyone can en masse use their own tools against them. Every time you see a bot, right click on their portrait, report player, select a reason: Cheating.
Then choose botting.

By the bots own system, if enough people do this, they’ll be automated out of existence!

Don’t you understand?! At any given time the majority of people in one particular spot are in the right and the minority should be banhammered. That’s just absolutely perfectly fine and how it should be.

The robots shall break the rules :robot:
The players will report them :robot:
The robots shall report these fools :robot:
And in the darkness ban them :robot:

The absolute maximum an automated system should be empowered to do is a temporary chat ban.

It’s actually pretty scary to think that this is here in the first place.
Groups of trolls could mass report anyone they didn’t like.

Well jokes aside the Burning Steppes sounds like a weird place to farm gold. I’m sure there are better places in the game for them to do it.

Fields of honour, there’s a ton of mobs there all in tight nit groups. They’re farming raw gold.

They have a level 70, somehow in chromie time, that came to gank me. A level 70 rogue with a cyrillic name. In chromie time, somehow.
Super sus!

Also, if they can get a 70 into chromie time, why aren’t their bots level 70?
(And yes, I’ve killed them a few times. XD)

Weirdly, they have bots on other servers too. I’m hoping with my intervention, they’re not making enough gold to pay for WoW tokens, and actually have to pay for a sub., Lul!

I’d remove the picture (or edit it) since it shows their name and it’s probably considered naming and shaming.

But yeah it looks like some sort of an exploit so I’d report that.

Man, forum rules are silly. It’s against the rules to name and shame actual hackers. But there are still actual hackers.

I mean for us all we have is your word, and you may be right, but then the next person who makes a thread like this is just making stuff up and convinces people to witch hunt someone innocent. Blizzard can access logs, they have ways to check what the player did and determine if they cheated or not. That’s why the reports are between the reporting player and Blizzard with no extra parties.

Tell you what. Go to burning steppes, with war mode on, on either moonglade or argent dawn, in chromie time. And just sit reeeaaal tight. See if I’m making this up.
