Another attempt to get into a Demon hunter

Hi all.

So as the title says im having another attempt at getting into the DH. I have tried several times and just find them… meh. The thing is I love the lore behind them, the aesthetics and over all I really want to like them but I just cant get into the play style.

So I thought id ask all of you. Do you find any particular builds or certain play styles to be particularly fun?

All hints and tips will be much appreciated.

For us is fun because we play as this character. But when you cant get into the playstyle before, i dont think you gonna find good time with DH. You must just like him. That’s the first and most important thing. I like Demon Hunter’s and always want be a tank in game. So i play as Vengence. I know this is not the best tank in game, and we have really bad transmog options but even that i find something what is fun for me and keep playing as him.

Erh, I think the whole appeal for me for DH is the fact we have so much mobility and on demand burst, and if you don’t enjoy that, DH is probably not for you. 3 eyebeam traits is a lot of fun to play though personally.

As Varnon also said, our selection for transmog is tiny. So you have to think how much are you willing to sacrifice to play DH, and a lot of people who attempt to play them always say the same thing. Basic boring rotation, only 2 race options and barely any tmog.

Thanks for the replies. I’m all about the Mobility. That was my big draw to monks when I mained one a while back. Thanks for the eye beem tip I will give it a go. As for the mogs Im not to fust. I tend to feel less I better in a DH from what mogs iv seen.

A build I like but that is less competitive than the current meta build is the movement based one with the damage buffs in fell rush and all, makes you jump around like a maniac to get damage buffs. It’s pretty fun.

Getting away from heavy melee in 2v2 is quite fun. Several times I fel rushed away with like 2% health and even got time to eat :wink:
