Hey Blizzard, I’m writing again.
I have now played your new iteration of BDK for more than a month, and I can honestly say that losing the cooldown reduction on DRW has been a major downgrade — not just in terms of survivability, but also purely in terms of fun.
Besides the much longer cooldown on DRW, losing Tombstone and Bonestorm means you are now doing nothing but pressing the same four buttons in rotation, and it feels incredibly monotonous. I understand that you want it to be “easier,” but this “rework” has not done BDK any good.
BDK did not need to become mechanically easier. We didn’t need fewer buttons. At most, you could have made it take less overall damage. As things stand this rework couldn’t have gone much worse — BDK is now less tanky than before, which makes it harder to play and has become far less fun to play at the same time, about as opposite to the goal of the reword as you could have gone.
