Another bloody tokens question

TL;DR Why is there a weekly 1k bloody token quest if the weekly total you can earn is only 450?

Inital confusion

So I was on around 977 tokens just before I wanted to turn in the 1k token quest just now, so I bought Gladiator’s Slippers for 700 tokens, which should have left me with around 277 tokens. I then turned in the 1k quest so should now have around 1277 tokens according to my calculations, but I only have 325, so I’m trying to figure out what has happened.

Discovering the answer

I notice that the season total is now 1900 and I’m capped. Last week the season total was 1350 and I was capped then too, so I could only loot a maximum of 1900 - 1350 = 450 tokens this week. I earnt 402 of them before turning in the 1k quest, so I turned the 1k quest in and only received 48 tokens, which explains the number I have now, but why would there be a weekly 1k quest if you can only earn 450 in the week and you earn most of that 450 before you even finish the quest?

Totally agree on this. Saw this too when logged in, and honestly this is a joke. So stupid. Atleast make the quest-reward around 100-200 instead of 1000 cause this only make you feel stupid. I mean, there is no point with 1000 in reward.

Before reset I had done that other quest, where you earn 1000 with some honors and conquests with the stupid thought that I could turn this in after reset. I mean, I had no use to turn this quest in earlier cause I was allready capped and thought this would be a smart thing to do. But Nope it wasn´t.
The quest was deleted, and sure I can get that cause it is a weekly-quest.

But what is the point with having those quests if you can´t keep them cause of reset, you can´t turn them in cause of cap … This must be remake thb.

So that characters that reach lvl 80 post season start can catch up easily

Yeah was thinking this but then it would make more sense to make it a one-time quest that you get when you ding 80 and then have a weekly quest for a lesser number if they don’t want people to gear up too quickly.

I see a reason for a cap. 450 a week seems a little low. Alts can catch up easily with honour gear and bloody tokens are easy to get, with many Warmode WQs offering 500 of them.
