What do you mean, it’s a legit screenshot of a deathlog in outdoor PvP of something that is clearly not okay. Why should I even dig into it? It is happening to me, to everyone, and obviously it needs a nerf xd.
It is possible, that’s the screenshot, other thing is that you or we don’t know how to replicate it; but the problem is there and it’s real, it is not like the global warming (joke ofc).
Best thing to do when you see a Hunter with a WS in open world is to do a complete 360 and run the other way. Don’t let that zappy boi zap you
If classes cannot be balanced around world buffs, then this change shouldn’t have happened. Other classes scale quite hard already with them yet hunter will not at higher levels, so the change will likely have to be reverted in the future.
A better short-term solution would’ve been just reducing the damage of lightning breath against players by a % until better long-term solutions were found if needed at higher levels.
We’ll see in phase 2.

the funny thing is even after 10 nerfs they are still top3 dps in PVE and destroying people in PVP
Then they need to fix wathever bug exploit was used, not the base ability.

Pets still do get world buffs lol. you just have to have it summoned to recive it. You can even use chrono to save a pets wb even ur own wb.
Cc the pet. The hunter dies. Easy. This nerfs are over the top imo. People were crying about hunters, but nothing is said about priests and Warlocks lol.

So after playing retail arenas for 6 years and peaking at challenger, you played another 7 years to barely get rival on wotlk. My bad, you have every right to call people bad at the game

check warcraft logs. shaman doesnt have good damage. and yes i run 9/7/0, have to be maso to pvp without wolf. You need probably 3 lava bursts to kill pet, hunter mend pet probably outheals your damage outside of lavaburst.
