Last few days I have levelled a Warlock so thought of gearing up with chain-M+. I also had one Vault loot, tier gloves.
After 21 M+ runs, an investment of 16+ hours game time, I have not yet got 6 out of 17/18 gear items! Still in greens and blues. And that with one Vault loot and two or three generous donations from other players. If we take out the donations I would be with 50% of my gear still green.
This is 21 M+ runs. Over 16 hours playtime exclusively on M+ and on the Warlock.
Yes, I can get some gear by doing some WQs, or buy it at the AH, or do PvP, or go raiding.
Here I am reporting on the dreadful loot state of M+. I propose Blizzard improve this. Make M+ loot easier to obtain.
After 71 +20s, 49 +15s and 19 +10s I got my first dagger from M+ (and it’s not even an upgrade because it has the worst stats it could have).
M+ loot drops this season are insanely bad.
P.S. All the daggers, apart from that one I’m talking about that it drop yesterday, have come from the raid.
And for those that think they’re smarT, you can check my raid and M+ logs; wouldn’t make sense to run with a lower ilvl dagger multiple weeks just to make this post.
Let it be known that after MONTHS of M+, usually at LEAST 8 per week, I am still wearing non-upgradable 389 legs of the dragonscales expedition! Meaning I haven’t seen legs at least ONCE in felt over 9.000 runs. Balanced, Blizzard. Very… balanced…
Let me just say that as a raider, watching M+ players get 416 ilvl without a single raid boss kill or having timed anything above +18, my heart bleeds for how slow their gearing is. We barely spend 3 nights a week reclearing HC and mythic while they have to spend HOURS in M+ (SBG) to get ilvls we can only dream of.
Blizz. Please buff M+. And raiding as well. And professions too. You know what? just remove gearing from the game. Most of the power gains throughout the season come from bug fixes and buffs anyway.
That’s actually a lot. How many of these were SBG, HOV or RLP? Because all others don’t count since they don’t have daggers in loot table.
Daggers unfortunately are rogue only. So you must have another rogue in your group to increase your chances. An WW monk for example shares weapons with DHs
But why do you want daggers from M+? Weapons require tons of valor to upgrade, and cap at only 415. Aren’t the crafted one better?
You can’t be talking about me, right? I have 8 LFR kills!!! What? LFR doesn’t count? I knew it.
Seriously, I am happy with gearing overall this season whether it’s valor, M+ drops or crafted gear. Can’t complain, may be I am just lucky. My M+ experience doesn’t consist entirely of SBG though.
What was your expactation there? You did 21 m+ runs and got 11 items, that seems pretty good to me. The rest you can suplement with crafted gear, and you should be able to get rid of those green items in no time.
It’s not Blizzard’s fault if you’re doing it wrong.
If you want to gear up an alt fast, this is what you do:
5 item slots go straight into your Sparks, use this for weapons, or trinkets, Lariat obligatory ofc and anything else that’s most needed as BIS
Now, you can easily run Vault of the Incarnate Normal or HC, if you can’t find a group, there’s tons of boosts in trade chat that are super cheap, think HC 8/8 goes for like 100K now, that should have gotten you at least 1 piece of gear, maybe 2 if you’re lucky
Now start spamming M+, that should get you 1 or 2 pieces after doing 8 dungeons,
Open vault for another piece.
In 2 weeks you’re almost fully geared, now spam 16s to upgrade 5x items to 418, if you got a Spark during all of this, that’s 6 items.
Honestly what are you complaining about? Super easy to gear now. Yes if you ignore 80% of the game it’s slower.
