Another microtransaction added

no one is forced to buy any of the toys/mounts/boosts that they add, blizz dont hold a gun to you head and tell you to get it, thats what optional means

That is completely besides the point.
This is about adding changes to the original version of the game, changes that have NO PLACE.
And we all know that these changes are nothing more than the first steps towards the inevitable slippery slope that those who originally wanted THIS PRODUCT never want to see.

Well, good you feel that way but it’s selfish of you because the people who miss out on this event are forced to buy the toy on the store.

You contradict yourself when you say:

Because after this event is over, they will put it up on the shop for sale. But you don’t care because you got it beforehand.

Imagine bloody simping for blizzard, a company who recently fired 1000s of workers, who dont even got GMs to reply to tickets anymore, a company who literally sharts on all their workers (except the bosses, they get their million dollar bonuses ofc!) and you actually manage to say “a company need money to continiue being a company?” you should look up greed in a dictionairy, hell they even added a bloody store to a game with old content, but noooo blizz isnt greedy right?

the imp was in TBC, you can no longer get the cards, other than paying a fortune on ebay, so this is a simple work around to that and again, you dont need to buy any optional items and other than they boost, which is 1 per account, none of the items give anyone that does get them any advantage over you

you still got a sub up?

Wait, are you actually encouraging people to spend more money with Blizz? as a 6 month subber we actually spend less than you, as we know we won’t be quitting inside 6 months we get to pay the company you hate so much, less. Surely that should be what you want?

You’re getting worked up over it based entirely on the assumption that it’ll end up for sale in the shop. Yet there’s no evidence saying it will…

How? If they play for 5 months only, they saved as much money as you did.
If they play for 4 months, and spend more time playing the game in those 4 months, they actually saved more money than you.

My man, do you play retail? Every 6 month subscription ended up on the store mount.
It will happen anyway, wether they do it instantly or not. People are gonna cry they missed out this event and Blizzard can use the excuse “a lot of people wanted it” = free money for them.

You are quite naive.

Cute.
You seem to be under the impression I’m here to debate you.
You are very much mistaken.

No amount of the BS you spew has any form of merit.

Just give it a couple months, they are only starting.

You missed the part of my post where I said

If you know you won’t quit, save the money, or we could all pay a company y’all pretend to dispise less money, and get more stuff.

So as long you can afford it then F everyone else right? You do realize this is a game with a age of 12+ right? sure i can afford it to as i work, but what about little timmy at the age of 12, explane how he should pay for the item or 6 months sub?

Its not commitment for the game as you so bluntly put it, its simply the rich who pay for something they dont know the future of and the broke who cant afford it, not to mention paying 6 months subs if its retail or classic gives blizz less incentive to work on the games, why work for things they dont need to work for.

Subs is a good thing as if they dont do well people can just quit and they dont get payed, but if you pay for a 6 month sub or 12 for that case, then they got no reason to worry as you already payed if you play or not, also most the times blizz added pets/mounts to sub buying its usualy before a looooong drught of patches or before alot of bugs taking ages to be fixed, take the BFA mount people could get for 6 months sub a while back, what happend after? no updates for over 6 months lol

Define quitting.
Some people play for a month or two, to three.
If they come back within 2 months and play again, they saved more money than you did.
If they play for a month, wait a week or two to resub, play again and do this for 2 times, they already saved more money than you.

Maybe save your rage for if they actually do add it to the shop instead of getting mad over your assumptions.

Someone pointed out it was already originally in TBC as a trading card item, which you basically just buy for real money anyway… a lot of money. It’s now literally just free if you commit to 6 months. Get over it lmao.

Sure thing, for those of us that do that monthly subs make sense, for those of us that love the game and don’t regularly take breaks the 6 month sub saves us money and gives us extra perks. You’re basically asking me to pay more money to a company you don’t like for them to give me less stuff, no thanks.

You are aware not a lot of players actively do this. I hope you really aren’t bored of WoW because 4 weeks of not playing the game spread over 6 months already made your savings redundant on the 6 month subscription.

Seriously, and I promise I’m not trying to be inflammatory here. If modern Blizzard, and their monetization is such a big deal to you, why don’t you vote with your wallet and pay another company you like for a product you enjoy?

Bookmarking this comment to show what a naive person you are lmao.

I wouldn’t care about microtransactions added to retail, it’s like RuneScape 3. But actively going back to add it to a 14 year old game? lol. I will show my displeasement for that, thank you. It’s my right as a customer.

If they can’t afford a 6 months sub, they wouldn’t have been able to afford the TCG code on ebay either. And this item was (still is) available on ebay at a high cost.

Whilst ever you continue to pay your sub, nobody that matters will care. The calculation will be made by the bean counters that the rejection of MTX wasn’t as costly via lost subs as the increased revenue the MTX brought.
