Another overcomplicated system incoming next tier

So member how blizzard said they listened to players ?

Apparently its another lie.

With next tier they are introducing another overcomplicated unnesesary gated gearing system for raiders.

and 0 way for casuals who dont raid to benefit from it.

This is very very bad sign for next expansion . Very strong vibes that casuals are not welcome to play Dragonflight just like they are unwelcomed in SL.

It’s not complicated though.

It goes 30 kills for 1st coin, 20 kills for 2nd coin and 10 kills for 3rd coin, which is the final one you can get. Which then you buy any 3 items (weapons or trinkets) with these.

It’s to lessen the buyers remorse, since under those 30 kills you’ll get a good grasp of what your most desired item is, more precisely what didn’t drop for you.

You’ll then get another kill count gather item to upgrade any of the fated items to heroic/mythic grade.

I know i’ll buy Jailer weapon then Old Warriors Soul and then possibly Sigil.
Imagine Jailer mythic weapon lmao.

It’s a good system, imo… can’t wait to use it. xD

it offers :

  1. 0 casual progression
  2. 0 help for guilds during progress
  3. minor help to get 3 bis pieces once your progress is over

want me to lay it out for you ? lets see we have a guild " casual joes"

so casual joes take 2 months to clear hc . so they will get their magical coins when tier will be almost over. only they will have no time to farm shards to upgrade items  by then they will be geared to teeth from m+ in much better itlv gear from GV

while everyoen and their mother who cares about gearing will be done with gearing via mythic + by week 3 of patch

GG raiding is saved guys eh ?

its telling a lot about their design philosophy for DF. really a lot. combined with removal of lfd from wolk classic.

they literaly hate casual players and casual raiders. and want then gone from wow for good.

This is a raid progression system, why would it offer casual progression?

It’s 30 kills for first token, you won’t get it in the first week that’s intended, you will get it some weeks later.

FYI, raiding isn’t 1-2 weeks and gg all bosses killed let’s go home.
It’s months of killing bosses.

Imagine thinking a BiS weapon is minor help… lol

These upgrade shards will begin dropping on Day 1 of the season and at a 100% droprate, so any casual raider will have a number of these already.

Please, shut up and get a clue before saying stuff like this.
Players are still progressing bosses months after the season starts.

Stop victimizing yourself, nobody hates anybody.
Casual players… what content do they do that they require BiS weapons and trinkets?
Casual raiders will take advantage of this as much if not more than hardcore raiders, since they take longer to clear a raid by common sense.

Gimme a break.

Clearing normal each week will allow players to buy the first shard 3 weeks into the patch, 2nd shard 5 weeks, 3rd and final shard 6 weeks after the patch starts. If you can clear normal, you can go heroic to progress, if you can clear heroic, you go mythic to progress.

Most guilds won’t clear mythic in 6 weeks, so use common sense and notice that the system has proper timing.
It’s a fine progression system.

its not raid progression system. its raid on farm supplement system . which is solving exackly 0 problems that raiding is facing for years.

why waste time in raid when you can just m+ and be much better geared ?

itsshowing they learned nothing. this system may indeed benefit guilds like Method. but it has 0 impact on 99% of raiding guilds.

You know that you get those tokens for clearing the bosses on normal, right? The literal faceroll easy 1 night clear difficulty? Everyone will be getting max tokens per week unless they are an LFR player, and LFR players don’t need gear so it doesn’t matter for them anyway.

It’s not raid on farm, you have no clue what you’re talking about.

If this was 4th season, i’d have Jailer weapon and Old Warriors Soul by now due to the tokens, we’re 3 months into the patch and players still some need items.

Because M+ does NOT offer all pieces of BiS gear.

It’s the opposite, it will have impact on 99% of the raiding guilds.
Not everyone clears mythic raids in the first 3 weeks.

Also to note that LFR will have Fated affix as well.
And it will drop tokens as well, maybe even shards.

Since they are old raids, all of them, LFR will probably be open 1st week full, that means anyone can get the coins and maybe extra shards too.
Do weekly LFR full… profit??

And even if it isn’t full initially, it will be a few weeks later.
So yes, even casuals can get gear through LFR.

as a player who has no plans to raid ever again, be it in LFR,normal, heroic, mythic.
and all i wanted is to do keys and push abit. this is very good news, because i will quit.

If any here care, and it comes to some news about a better life for a m+ only feel free to add me on bnet and share the info. until then, have fun all.

Honestly who even care, its gonnna be last season with same content we already did so just have fun with it

I’m surprised they managed to create buzz around s4 anyway. I mean, it’s a bunch of recycled content. Might aswell go to a recycle center.

I usually agrees with a lot of criticism Blizzard gets. But this thread reads a lot like “why won’t i get everything day one for logging in?!?”.

Even LFR counts towards the quest so this system acts as a (limited) deterministic way of getting your BiS, for everyone. Minus the limited thing, isn’t this exactly what people have been clamoring for?

make M+ BIS FOR M+. dont force mee into degen raids. i dont want to raid. i wanna focus on what i like m+. without being behind on tier bonus or gear. HOW HARD IS IT TO UNDERSTAND; DO SOMETHING FOR NON RAIDERS FOR ONCEE: TAKEE ALL UR RAIDS AND SEND THEM TO HELL

It’s one drop for super bad luck and capped to 3 for the whole season.

This is a spit in the face for every casual once again.

Should ve uncapped and one drop per week as they tortured us with SL the whole time and it’s not even new content. Tome gating at it’s best. Won’t play this BS and stick tp WotLK, we’re there was a competent dev team.

will quote wowhead on shadowlands season 4 raid loot clarifications

  • Creation Catalyst still active with all remaining charges and Tier Sets still work.

  • LFR will have a Fated Difficulty. No Timegating.

  • A World Boss will also be fated every week and drop 285 Fated gear.

  • The upgrade items can skip difficulties.

what appearance will a 285 ilvl jaithys have? curious normal or heroic
only got the lfr sword and 0 from normal

the whole borrowed power complaint is a strawman argument set up by blizz and the blizzshills to hide the actual reason people stop playing: full wokeism, cencorship and sexual deviancy wich always go hand in hand btw.

No. Its a good change for most of the players and a step in the right direction , stop victimizing yourself its so cringe
