Some time ago i asked what would happen if i choose to play an Alliance character in a horde realm, so here i am again with the same question but now Blizz allow people to join guilds / parties etc for both faction.
So what really changed? I have some restrictions with who and how to play?
( i know the guild vendor doesn’t sell stuff for the opposite faction i guess).
Just asking because i want to play shaman but Horde races for shaman are ugly for me.
You can join guilds now but there are still limitations on playing with the opposite faction. You can do things that can have PuG groups, like the Raid or Mythic Plus, but you can’t play open world content together, you can’t queue for LFD or LFR cross faction at present.
I’ve not actually tried checking out the guild vendor on my Ally chars in my guild. So I don’t actually know about that one. The guild bank is available.
