there is just so many of us that are literally screaming for this, it took years to implement pvp gear, i don’t want to wait years for this too, can someone at blizz tell us what do we have to do, to prove just how much people want this ? like, do i make a petition, or do we send email?
Arguing for solo queue from the position of arenas is completely counter-productive. A solo queue for arenas is significantly more difficult to organize than a solo queue for battlegrounds. All approaching from this side does is gives Blizzard an easy counter: “you know, we’d do solo queue, but this is difficult, because arenas have comps of unequal strengths, so we should make the balance better first”. And while this might seem good, this is merely a cop out. Because sure, they will work on balance, but they will never make it good enough so that arenas stop needing special logic for comps in solo queue.
Just never do this. Always talk about solo queues for rated battlegrounds and rated battlegrounds only. Solo queues for battlegrounds have no downsides at all. No controversies. Nothing. It’s all straight good there, better matches, better participation, etc.
Only after they do solo queues for battlegrounds we can talk about arenas.
I guess soloqueue is only for bigger more popular pvp titles. Games with a really big budget like:
