it is in fact good news because the money they make off of it will go into can you imagine paying their employees which means more wow :slight_smile:

Considering you can buy all store stuff with gold I dont see any issue with them.

Love the bear! All for more simplistic mounts

while some of it might and there is literally nothing you or I can do about it there is also the fact that the subscription has not changed in ever so they need this to pay their employees + whatever you said + create new content
hate on the “ceo” or whatever all you want, but the costs to keep such a game running especially with how much effort they’ve been putting into it the past few years, is huge

Releasing a mount so soon after a new expansion came out? A little greedy to say the least.
But people seem happy from what I’ve seen, so maybe it’s not such a bad thing. The Yak is getting kinda old. tbh. Hell will freeze over before I pay 20€ for pixels, though.

I kinda ignored it as just another store mount thats not on a sale, but Transmog and repair? Ok, might just get it, uses less screen space than the Yak

store mounts been around 14 years now so bit late with this wueation ,also you can buy it with in game gold so super easy.

In general it’s a bad thing, a subscription-based game should not have stuff like that, but this fight was lost long ago.

At this point, if this means they can make the game better or at least maintaining it, then so be it, even though I can’t understand the appeal of paying 20 bucks for a mount in game…

I bought it but in all fairness i havent bought anything store related for a long time.

I really love the transmog feature of the mount and the fact its a bear.

I wont buy anything just because. So id say, my thoughts on this are positive. No one is forcing anyone to buy anything.

We’re a few weeks into a new expansion. It’s right now that WoW’s popularity is peaking and people are excited by it. And so it is right now that Blizzard will try to sell as much extra as possible.
It’s par for the course. Same with previous expansions. Same with Blizzard’s other games.

Same as what I thought every other time Blizzard brought out a store mount.

People can buy it if they want. its going to make zero difference to me.

I’m hoping that if it’s popular enough as a seller, they’ll do the same thing with an AH and mailbox mount again. It could cost more for all I care. I just really, really want one. :rofl:
