It’s high time we finally get this race class combination into wow classic. I would not be against other race combinations that increase diversity.

Won’t happen and if it did people would cry for others to be introduced.
I do think it was an oversight for there not to be Human Hunters in the game from day one though - makes zero sense.
Humans have grown too “civilized” to hunt. They’ve lost touch with nature. Bunch of city slickers don’t know how to track animals or deal with with wild beasts.
That’s my headcanon at least.
Kinda weird they don’t have archers tho. I guess they relied on the high elves too much and never bothered training up their own troops for that kinda role.

the main reason retail gives for its identity-less class/race mumbonjumbo is that enough time had passed for one race to teach the other the ways of whatever.
It’s stupid reasoning imo, but I don’t want to get into it. WoW classic continues shortly after Warcraft 3 and that mustn’t be ignored. Stick to the lore!
That said, objectively speaking having human hunters wouldn’t be too far fetched. Now you might say the same for undead hunters since dark rangers are a thing too.
If there HAD to be I’d be fine with it, but nothing else imo.
