Anti-Boosting Mechanics / Reduction to group XP Changes

Which point?, where you attacked my programming skills (which was unnecessary) or how the game needs to adapt :thinking:

I get the game needs to adapt… we have evolved as players, our skillset, a better understanding of gear, stats etc. i get that, i agree with you… raids need to be tweaked, made more of a challenge etc…, but that isnt whats happening here - i mean no disrespect to you, but that isnt my whole point here… because of the actions of gold farmers these changes were implemented… its in a blue post, cant deny that here.

As above, the sole reason Blizzard have implemented such changes is to stop gold farming… but the fact is it hasnt, its created additional issues… as a fire mage Ive watched videos on youtube where they are soloing trash in Upguard Keep… hasnt really fixed much for gold farmers if thats what they want to target.

I agree with the evolve, but this really isnt a change due to evolving.

Just an example, one of many - there has to be another way.

It seemed that Blizzard’s goal in this changes was more about removing competition to their new lvl 70 boosts and nerfing bots/gold farmers was secondary byproduct of this.

Maybe antiboost mechanics that are affecting character skills should come into place after first instance reset only? They problem isn’t in amount of gold carried out from the first run, but constant resets that boosts botting are based on. That will keep original class balance and do not make frost mages unwanted outcasts.

if im not totally mistaken they did the same in OG game and nerfed xp gains with level diference too high etc

Now you can find groups from 1-60 no problem so please drop the NO HARM to boost low lvl´s

Lvl´d a warlock from 1-60 in 2 weeks now by doing normal dungeon runs !

Perhaps a perk to being exalted with your guild could remove the restrictions to grouping?, would allow guild events to continue unaffected at least.

Tell me you havent played WOTLK without telling me you havent played WOTLK.

How is guild reputation and perks (Cataclysm system) in any way relevant to WOTLK?

Thought it was quite a legitimate suggestion that I think would alleviate a lot of peoples issues, but you seem to have reduced it to a derogatory toxic level, twisting it into your own narrative.
Shows the quality of your character, that instead of just discussing the idea you frame it in an obscure way to attack my so called knowledge of the game.
Think you need to pull your finger out and get over yourself.
Fully understand why so few people actually attempt to go on the forums.

Or … I simply dont want Cata features, tweaked Cata features without any other purpose than some psuedo-idea of guild boosting, in WOTLK.

Honestly mate, it’s because crapping out something beyond the likes of :
“IF PlayerTimeInCombat>=30 SetNerfBat=true” would’ve reduced the annual net income reports for ATVI shareholders due to excessive development costs.

That or the managing director that signed off on this has the brain capacity comparable to that of an oyster.
