You cant ask for help if thats what you mean, no help at all will disqualify 99% of the current players
I dont think blizzard will release hardcore realms with the same guidelines/rules as the addon suggest.
Expect a watered down version with just a general rule as in you die and its over
The rest can be set within the HC community for those who wants ultra hardcore.

With “no help” I mean Askein for help/buff/anything, not receiving.
No mail or trade others, so no mats from alt/others/guildies - WILL disc you.
I hope for watered down as you call it, as I play old style IronMan with allowed AH and send mail. But lot of other rules (eg. NO help at all, white gear only, no group) which is not in HC addon.
These rulesets are not a new thing.
Nearly every MMO ive played has had some sort of sub-community doing an extra challenge
The only difference is, the community on this game has become a lot larger than they have on other MMOs (sometimes under different names - such as Ironman Mode rulset on Guild Wars 1 being very similar to Hardcore on WoW) and more and more people are giving it a try
Just like with every community on the internet:
You have sociable people
You have unsocial people
You have elitist people
You have chilled out people
Its exactly the same mix of types of players as retail, classic and era and the community has existed for much longer than the addon has ever existed, the addon just made it more well known.
