After farming this mount for hundreds of hours I got lucky last night and the reins of Anu’relos dropped for me.
After the excitement died down a bit, I clicked on the mount to learn it and was very dissapointed as I did not receive the cinder of companionship or the feather of the blazing somnowl which is dropped into your bags after learning it.
Bittersweet to say the least !
I have submitted a bug report, and opened a ticket to see if I can resolve the issue as I want my items !
Hoping someone else will stumble upon this (a G.M ) and if you have had similar problems please report it here.

Got my Anu’relos today but after i leaned this mount, usually you get 2 items for pet taming and druid fly form, but i don´t got any of it.
Gm asked me to open a forum ticket becuase he can´t find any bugs related to this…
i hope someone of the tech team see this and finds a solution for this problem, poeple are tired of continous bugs

Posted on this exact issue a few topics down, U.S forums also have many players with same issue.
After opening 3 tickets and submitting bug reports it seems like the GMs are saying there is nothing they can do about it at the moment.
It’s super frustrating.
Fingers crossed we will get our items at some point 
Same here, got the mount today, no items and gm response was that gms can’t do anything about bugs and to post it on the bug report forums. The only problem is that the bug report forum is on US and we can’t report it from EU.
but i don´t really get the problem they have, they can check if the person have the learned mount and then send the 2 items per mail.
every item has a specific id… so why can´t they do something about that

We’ve seen more reports of this and the issue is currently being looked into.
While it is indeed possible to verify, rather than asking each affected player to contact us for the solution, we prefer to have the devs resolve it and automatically grant anything missing where possible. As such we’d ask that you avoid making tickets for this, as Game Masters will not be able to help in individual cases.

I am not alone in saying that the shine has been well and truly removed from obtaining what is arguably the most sought after mount in the game at the moment.
I main Hunter, and the added rewards to this prestigous mount are what I was really after ! Not too mention creating multiple new alts with the sole intention of more attempts at farming it, many, many hours spent pursuing it.
I have been playing WoW since launch and this is very worrying as so many bugs have arrived with this new patch, considering removing my sub is something I have rarely thought about, but now …
Hello guys… I just got this mount was so hyped to tame the pets for my hunter and using the flight form for my druid… Only to notice I did not get the items only mount… How am i gonna get my missing rewards??

Bro im like you I did a total of 40 80s to farm this mount every week… I managed to get it at 558 attempts and was so hyped wanted tame pets for main hunter and druid form for my alts… i only got mount no form or companion i submit ticket will see what happens
ok what is the solution ? this cant possibly be hard for them to see that people who got mount from ids and not getting all reward and just send them to mail?

Yes, it´s possible, as explicitly stated in the article, leading me to once again ask if you read it.
But it also does absolutely nothing to solve the problem for the thousands of players that will continue to have the problem going forward from this point, but will merely put more strain on Support.
“Maybe” we should just give them at least one full workday to actually look into what´s causing it and fix it? Because this is in no way a game breaking issue that warrants delta force and navy seals deploying on the weekend, it´s merely a minor annoyance due to not acquiring some cosmetics. 
Same here, also contacted blizz via ticket, also reported a bug via game, also gotten a frustrating answer that it’s a known issue. I get it, fix the issue for the guys that get the mount in the future, but fix it for us by getting non outsourced GM and telling him to send us our items. Sole purpose of farming this mount was to get it as flying form on my druid, I don’t even care about other chars tbh.
yea i also got some auto reply answer and i read different stuff like on wowhead a guy said gm sent him in mailbox on US forums some guys claims they suddenly got it in bags like from nightfall scenario dont know if they trolling or what seems like we just have to wait and see my sole purpose of spending all this time farming mount was for druid form and my hunter pets
This should now be fixed! For anyone that learned the mount already, the extras should be granted the next time you actually use it.

Ive been playing for 2 hours I just relogg and checked did not recieve druid form or hunter pet i mounted anu’relos flame’s guidance nothing recieved
Not fixed for me either.
Logged in on the character that learned the mount and no items after using the mount.
Can you provide a more detailed explanation on how it is fixed exactly please ?
can you clarify? i tried using mount but not recieving druid for nor pet tame your message little unclear
