Evening. Are there any LFG and Trade channel addons that let you blacklist the word “BOOST”?.
You should be able to blacklist words like “Boost”. The channel has around 100 people spamming non-stop “WTS Boost”. I cannot ignore any more players, if they ignore me I can still see their spam.
In the old days, people threaten you for spamming. Can I report them?
I use the addon “Global Ignore”. You can set whatever filters you want. Personally, I filter “Boost” and “Spellcleave”.
It automatically filters Thunderfury and anal spam, and you can set it to filter certain languages too.
You can report spammers, but Blizzard wont do anything about it.
SpamBlock works great. You can put it any words and to filter and set interval to not show duplicates (like people who spam their lfg 10 times in a row).
I have it set up with 10 sec and to ignore boost and gdkp … does wonders.
Also shows statistics … 70% of the chat is just spam lol

All Blizzard would have to do is to make a simple spam filter on client side to fix this.
We’re more likely to see Unicorns running around than Blizzard doing these types of QoL updates 
Global Ignore is nice, worked very well defining rules, plus you can add a reason for every person you ignore.
Spamblock, on the other hand, took all the spam off my chat, no more Boost or WTS on LFG. Each line I read is different, very clean.
I am recommending it to others that are annoyed by the spammers.
LFG Bulletin board addon includes a blacklist in the filters. works well.
LFG Bulletin Blacklist’s stopped working for me recently. This is why I’ve asked for another addon.
