Deadmines (original dungeon not the heroic one), shadowfang keep, SM cath combined with another SM, stratholme (original), parts of BRD, Zul’farrak etc. Even if it is just one classic dungeon in the rotation, could be refreshing?
They may need a bit more complexity to them, but I’m sure designers are capable of doing that and making the new details blend in well with the dungeon’s current vibes. Or rather, some classic dungeons with affixes and high keystone levels could allow for some of the dungeons to be challenging and so they could be kept pure, which would be great!
They may seem dull these dungeons to some, but for long standings players of WoW, it’s refreshing to re-see them yet again in serious light with M+. But again, maybe with some added complexity to trash or boss mechanics they may be more intriguing to new players.
Anyone else like the idea of classic dungeons in M+? Any other dungeons you would like to see?
Yeah BRD was a great interesting place. Truly felt like a little city. It’s a shame most dungeons are linear.
Yeah sadly BRD would have to be cut up into parts, whether those parts can remain interesting, I don’t know. But I think the original Deadmines could be funky with some added boss mechanics and trash spells. I think shadowfang keep has good potential. Maybe Stratholme too.

With the bigger dungeons cut into wings they’d be okay, just don’t add extra mechanics to creatures. The affixes are more than fine.
The trinkets would be probably subpar in most cases, however I’m not sure the trinkets that give spellpower are how well converted to intellect primary stats to be good enough.
It may be neccessary if things become too simple and easy. Affixes by themselves is still fairly simple. In lots of DF dungeons trash have many abilities on top of the affixes we face.
During a boss fight, some old bosses can be very simple in classic dungeons in contrast to modern dungeons.
But on an 18-24, maybe classic dungeons with how they are right now could still keep you on your toes?
I forgot about the loot lol. Hmm, yeah maybe they would have to tinker with the trinkets sadly. , but maybe not all of them? Yay.
I do agree with that. In that case, the dungeons chosen would have to be checked if they are viable for a good challenge at higher keystone levels.
Because if Deadmines original was chosen, it would seem the boss fights were far too easy? I don’t know, maybe affixes and 18+ could make it possiblly challenging.
