Any chill guilds or is cata going to be a sweat fest?

Just started playing again after a break

I didn’t play much Wotlk so I decided to stay guild-less but I was thinking of giving cata a go.

Only issue is there are very few guild adverts, some are non english etc so it difficult to see what’s out there.

I have not seen a single advert with any mention of relaxed /chill /fun / no parses no drama just kill and loot stuff whooo!

LFG is constantly spam filled with gay jokes / “digger” jokes / people favorite sex acts etc

Im on mirage raceway, don’t remember things being this bad. Kind of worried if I do join a guild some will be on ignore :smiley:

Is this a quite time or are things picking up now?

I´d assume it very much depends on the realm you are on.

I came back to the prepatch only to find my realm (Mograine) was very low on Horde population for some reason.
It was not dead but not quite alive either.
I then used the free transfer to move my Paladin to Gehennas, which I did I did not do. Gehennas is such a pissfest with the people on it being the most morons in the entirey of wow.

WTS Reigns of invincible this, GDKP that. The channel is constantly spammed with these keywords. BUT, on occasion i see a guild advertisment that would fit your needs.

I would look on the realm discord if I were you. Maybe you find what you are looking for there.

If your on mirage i would suggest you speak with Rudes @ The Bloody scoundrels they are neither sweaty nor gungho ! (former guildies) and have a very laid back chill attitude !

Yes. There is so much RMT involved it´s sickening. And even if it´s real Gold. What´s the point if you didnt earn the mount yourself?

Have you seen those SR runs? BoE Hr = RMT, tokens gbid = obvious.

I´m against every form of RMT. gdkp is just the most present form of it.

I can only recommend you guys the addon global ignore list. You can filter pretty much anything that you dont want to read.

There are people like that everywhere, you just notice it more due to the sheer quantity of players over what you had in Mograine at had given period. Do like i do and put the gdkp’s on ignore and it will look like a normal server once more.

Think about 1 in every 20 guilds or so is a chill one.

3/20 sweatlords with constant high parses
16/20 sweatlords that fail to various extents
1/20 chill, still get most bosses down on HC while tossing gray parses around

Maybe 1/20 is a bit optimistic still, but I found about 3 or so so far, and usually stick with em for a very long time.
