Any Demon Hunter nerfs? Like substantial ones

How about

  • Soulscar damage reduced by 20% in PVP
  • The Hunt (damage over time) damage reduced by 20% in PVP
  • Essence Break now increases the damage of Death Sweep by 50% down from 80% in PVP
  • Blur cool-down increased to 1.5 minutes

We need rogue nerfs at the same time, otherwise it will just shift over to them.

Nerf dance to only be available once every 2 minutes and Outlaw defense.

Could use some buffs, yeah.

On a serious note, it kinda feels like it’s dh and rogue that make destro look op because they enable it so much. I would honestly wait for nerfs on these 2 and check again how it plays out for destro. Like wait a week and if it’s still broken nerfs it is. :man_shrugging:

i mean first of all it´s a good point but even without having a dh on your back, the passive healing looks still op, especially with an rsham on your team and a perma riptide on you, or Ai rdruid hot´s it´s aint fun to play against a destro

I prefer to follow him to Africa because of infinite gates and ports, than seeing autohealing himself, if this should be the case

the passive autohealing thing, and the low cd deffensive toolkit is just terrible gamedesigne
same for unlimited gap closers from meeles

dmg wise, i havent noticed anything crazy, it´s just the toolkit, to ruin u multiple kill opportunities, and change a 3 min game into an 6-8 min game

i dont mind, if blizz would do actual balance changes, but there is nothing. like left us in the dust i swear i wouldnt be surprised, if the main pvp dev´s are dh mains

and before i forget, clone changes/ and feral pvp talent change, to make it less toxic for feral, and the oponent

most problematic thing i have noticed so far

destro/deff?
dh dmg with close to zero downtime
outlaw rogue, beeing a tank god, also doing high pressure in late games?
cyclone spam even if its on dr

needs to happen asap but 1 rog and dh these 2 are 1 addon ahead

AWC has shown us that Destro might be too strong, but I think they are just too strong in combination with DH and Rogue. In case those both get nerfed, Destro could be fine.

Because in what other comps do you see Destro doing so good? I can’t believe I say that, but I kinda agree with Bloodlock for now. Nerf the other both and see how things change.

Even though I think Chaosbolt should have a cooldown of 5 seconds or so. 2-3 Chaosbolts in a row shouldn’t be a thing!

Destro is still with Feral/Assa rogue Solid, and i think if u nerf Rogue dh down, the destro will also have more Breath to play this game, and i think if u nerf Dh/Rogue

u will see comps like, fmage destro/ arcane mage destro/ ele destro/ feral destro

i mean i can be wrong, but my feeling says, that exactly this will be the case

i dont say nerf destro as much as dh LMAO dh is already playing the new expansion

and i dont think the dmg isnt the problem when it comes to destro

(maybe the instant portal dmg?) the utility to stop the oponent to kill is more of a problem, like short coil, or the amount of shield/heal

It takes an incredibly long time until we see a change alone the dh, and ret thing in the past are the best example for it, we just wait too long for changes

so if we nerf this class later, we have to wait 3-4 months and 50 nerf class x Threads later

cb hits same as incinerates now even as hard casted spell that cost souls, wouldnt make much sense to nerf it even more from what it is, its not like ww/dh overtuned high sustain even outside cds and instant high burst during them are the problem. you can see heals are not lining up to play the game and no one except the dh have been enjoying the season.

for up to 300k and you can chain up 2 in a single coil combined with 3 rifts. Simply too much!

Also with Arms and WW for example but are they overtuned in those comps, especially in case they nerf dance for Assa?

I don’t think so to be honest, but I mean what I wrote about CB. That alone would be enough of a nerf I think.

the thing is, i dont have the problem with cb, or i dont see a problem with it, it´s a long cast, never have seen a destro throws 3 cbs out while i am coiled, also cost resource, and u just kick immolate on cd, and when he cast cb, line or stun, or heal, or trade something

i am more scared, when i see the portals what does so much dmg while the lock isnt casting

also the problem, that this class can shut down so many kill Opportunities is just crazy, i wish i could this as a feral

this too, but Arms warri is good in general, also have nice support for his lock, just getting outperformed by outlaw and dh, if outlaw and dh get´s nerfed u also will see more warris

ww is weird, i wouldnt say this class is overtuned, but the burst is overtuned and sustain dmg is kinda low

yeah only time realistically cb anymore can even cause pressure is during havoc into coil and its still hitting almost the same as incinerates now, my incinerates have been 220k and cb vary from 150-200k so my confusion after the nerfs for the sense of this change is warranted as it is hard cast that cost a resource after all that you are supposed to first build and then use as a “finisher” but now it sorta hits the same or less than the builders.

and what comes to ww/dh well they just do constant pressure and even more during cd they are both overtuned for the season by now. the topic of this post is about dh tho and I would also keep the attention on dh as that really deserves all the attention for now.

yeah cb isnt the problem here, it´s a factor of other things
