Just a question about paladins, since we don’t have paladins as horde Yesterday was having some fun in Felwood. One paladin came to my shaman in melee (rank 7 gear and 4k+ hp) and 1 shot him. When I checked the log I saw 6-7 rounds of seal twisting and then a hammer of wrath all in 1 gcd. How is it possible? I mean, how can a paladin twist seal a few times in 1 gcd and 1shot a shaman with more than 4k hp? I play a lot at BG, never seen one-shots. I think a guy is scripted and I should probably send a message to hacks. Can any1 confirm?

You can kill a shaman. Certain classes do it easily, others have to try hard a bit. Yes, as a priest it is prob difficult, but doable. If shaman can’t reach you.
Yesterday I killed that paladin only on my moonkin. Only because he couldn’t reach me and I kited and prayed for a stun
Well hacking is allowed so there’s no point wasting your time reporting him, cuz he won’t be banned for it. They made it legal since Legion, at least. Just read the ToS.
Love to read people about pvp having no idea of wtf is going on… i can understand why noone knows this game anymore. Let me explain what happened:
You tested your 1st reckoning bomb. It’s a paladin talent which stores up to 5 crits to deal 5 hits + seal + twist in one global. The ultimate glass cannon of kill in 1 move. Don’t panic, arcane mages used to do it every 3 minutes and i saw 0 complainings on that move.
To reach that talent you need preparation of 5 crit where you could farm before, so it’s a long and boring way to get stacks just for 1 possible oneshot. And outside that omega hit the paladin doesn’t have any good talent to keep fighting at decent level. You will see a lot of this paladins at level 60. Counterpart? they cannot attack or they will detonate the reckoning so kite a lot, since they wont use sentence on you either because they lose the bomb.
It is indeed strange how he could even do a Seal at all, little less twist them, going against a class that can render both Seals and Blessings useless with the press of a button (Purge)…
It was indeed a Reckoning Bomb. Don’t worry Mr Shaman Who Became Ninja Over Night, you will be able to mindlessly kill 99% of the other players even if you don’t have a clue whats happening infront of you. You are after all a Shaman.
it was reckoning bomb , not seal twisting. The dude just stacked 4 reckoning charges and used these extra attacks in combat. So he did like 5 attacks + 5 attacks from seals . Nothing special its old trick like vanilla itself

The only way would have been for him to stack reckonings by taking crit strikes from mobs and then seal twist. But even so I highly doubt it would be able to OS you. That would be some ridiculously lucky RNG happening there.
a classic paladin cheese move in world pvp.
back in 2019 on Gandling, we had a “noble paladin” who would spend every waking hour in Felwood just running around reckbombing (1 shotting) people trying to collect world buffs (which could not be booned back then).
if that isn’t what he is doing, then i have no clue.
i wasn’t aware they could do that yet, thought they needed more talent points or smth because i haven’t seen anyone do it, personally.
basically it requires the paladin to be crit to stack the “bomb” buff up to 5 (previously unlimited, look up kazzak 1-shot etc.) which means they go spam /sit somewhere and wait for a mob to crit them 5 times to set it up, and then go give some innocent guy an incel vibe check.
there is a heated debate among professional psychiatrists to this day as to whether or not this should be declared an official mental illness.
but all that being said, you have basically nothing to worry about, as this doesn’t actually work in legit pvp since the set-up is just not doable without a mob.
