Hey guys, as faith would have it I have access to both RTX 2070 and RTX 3060 at the same price. My current GTX 1070Ti will go to a friend and I am wondering which one should I pick as both prices are identical for those cards. the RTX 3060 has 3 months of warranty left as well. I am mainly playing wow and some really undemanding titles outside of that.
Go with the RTX3060, some of those brand new are cheap enough, even the TI versions as most are trying to shift those at the moment, hence they’re £299-350 for 3060 and £375-450 for the TI version.
Newer GPU so will last longer than the 2000 series.
3060 12 GB is really not bad GPU for the price. I was using it before 4000serie and not gonna lie was working really good!
Yeah 3060 way to go right now. I don’t think the 4060 is going to beat the 30 series at all, there’s something really fishy going on with the 40 series and way they’re priced. Expecting 4060’s to be £699 rrp which is ridiculous.
I’m glad my 2080ti is still good enough to even pass 40 series if I decide that’s the best thing to do.
