Any info on the new Creation Catalyst regarding iLvl and transmog?

Like, what can be transformed and which transmog set do you get upon transforming depending on item level?

I know the Catalyst isn’t open for ages, but it’s still useful to know what to keep…

it’s very likely that the inspiration catalyst will work like this: (any low itlvl ) to 401 will be Normal appearence. 402 to 414 will be heroic and 415 beyond is mythic.

tho, if it is ALL like last season, maybe ther’es a possibility that m0 items that can’t be upgraded will be turned into Mythic appearence but ain’t sure 100%

i think it’ll be even higher
for example i have a 408 m+ set glove on my rogue and it’s using the normal raid appearance

I believe it’ll go as:

normal appearance till 410
heroic appearance 411-420
mythic appearance at 421 (vault items)

Yeah but these are all guesses so far, I was asking if there is any official info. And also whether there are any other items that can be used. For example, in 9.2 you could transform the Sandsworn Set, which was the easiest way to get the LFR appearances.

i don’t think this info is released yet
what i can confirm to you though, is that normal appearance is still used at 408 ilvl.

It would be cool if crafted items (using a spark) can be converted to tier…
that would replace the sandsworn set perhaps ?

i’m only ‘thinking wishfully’ here

U can use any s1 gear but crafted one . Idk why they decided crafter items wont work there but it is what it is .

Which is rediculous considering how much they are pushing the professions in Dragonflight.

Yea its kinda weird, maybe it has something to do with pre determined embelishment on some items that would have to disapear, or fact u can choose stats that would also change and i can imagine a lot of people will be confused and blizz wanted to avoid that .

Like, they could make it like “crafted gear is allowed, but that with embelishment isnt. Also you can choose stats u want on your crafted gear but if u choose to turn it into set it wont matter”
