Any news or updates on ANY monk changes?

I am really starting to worry. Main my monked the last two expansions but I am starting to think we are an afterthought. It reminds me of the Shaman situation last expansion.

Should i prepare a new main?

I love WW. They just need to fix bugs and scaling and majority job done if they dont want to spend too much resource what I am reading atm. We need to be more vocal and try to comunicate with us forums. they get more attention. Go there like some posts find a friend that has us client and ask him to post in ur name. make alot of post.

I am so happy that they posted those. happy for the gale machanic for xuen as well, it wont be a dead button. At the end of the post they stated that they will work on many bugs. Hopefully not only SL related. Can this mean that started to work on monk?

It was nice to see that they’re addressing us now. But if the upcoming changes that they haven’t said much about yet, aren’t satifsying, then get vocal! I don’t want us to be in a Shaman/Shadow Priest situation that they were prior to 8.1-8.2. I feel like of all the classes Monk has so far gotten the least changes.

For WW I would be happy if Expel Harm would give 2 Chi (need another Chi generator so we’re not energy starved so much), and that Whirling Dragon Punch, Fist of the White Tiger/Strike of the Windlord and Tigereye Brew become baseline. I woudn’t mind if Storm, Earth and Fire gets replaced with Tigereye Brew, and maybe have a non-bugged version of SEF as a talent option.

Also I’d like to have Hit Combo replaced with a viable talent option, and instead have Fury of Xuen baked into our Mastery as Hit Combo was a boring and redundant talent that we felt forced to take and really punished mistakes done.

Why did they have to butcher way of the crane? I always found it a very fun gameplay and I was happy when they gave it for pve as well.
Now they made it just a boring pet that heals for a set amount of mastery and doesn’t even increase our damage anymore.
As if MWs were doing too much damage compared to hpaladins and rdruids :roll_eyes:

It’s not butchered, I’ve tested the ability and it does very good healing, good enough that you will be fistweaving everytime healing is needed and its off cool down, even in a raid environment which I appreciate.

They’re making mastery be more relevant which has always been as issue for MW, its a good cd change. I hope they don’t butcher the numbers during tuning, because I certainly would love to fistweave in raids.

Every spin provides 4 physical damage applications which mean 12 total gusts of mists at 200%, and this is single target. Does more aoe.
