Any other Shockadins?

Writing to see if there is others who is daring out on adventures as a Shockadin?

I’ve been admiring the spec idea for so long and played it but fall short once it comes to equipment since we aren’t able to loot/roll for dps trinkets.

I am aiming to keep on my adventure in Shadowlands to run as Shockadin and a secondary spec (which I still can’t decide on, Prot Vs. Ret).

Its fun to try out since its not really a real spec but fun when you can do pretty alright damage with it.

Currently trying to bribe friends of mine to come LFR/Normal on casters so I can get DPS trinkets.

been going dps holy build for years now and made range dps trade their trinket to me 8) i have played ptr and holy pally does amazing dps. Most fun part by being a healer is to try and beat the dps players on the meters lol

Been leveling alts like this, and Taelan beats the dps in dungeons, hah. But you’re lucky with the trinket.

Shockadin -
A holy paladin centered around maximizing holy damage: holy shocking enemies.
Hence “shockadin”,
You can see in some M+ videos holy paladins doing 50+k dps. But they could even do more if they tuned for damage over healing abilities.

I really should check this section more often. I didn’t know Shockadins still existed. I thought they went the way of the talent tree, way back in the dawn of history.

Any good place to see a Shockadin spec? I’m really bored and it’s been years since I played one. Years and years and years.

Well i can give you my setup i use to do dps as holy in raids/pvp

  • Azerite traits 3x glimmer> 2x indomitable Justice> 1x Light’s Decree
  • Essence Main The crucible of flame> Miniors/ Vision of perfection> Conflict and strife>The formless void(raid) / memory of lucid dreams (pvp)
  • Stats Crit 30% ish>vers>haste.corruption Vers, 3x inefabble thruth and one rank 3 tentacle. Trinkets i like, Forbidden Obsidian Claw and Rotcrusted Voodoo Doll.
  • talents [Crusader’s Might]>[Cavalier]>X>[Devotion Aura]>[Holy Avenger]>[Sanctified Wrath]>[Divine Purpose] PvP talents [Avenging Light]> [Divine Favor]> [Light’s Grace]
    I most of the time do same dmg or close as other dps players i’ve been doing m+ with if i could focus less on healing
