T4 has no content and is normally just a stepping stone to T5, my character is optimised enough now to probably clear T6, let alone T5. When I killed Vashj for the first time in 2007 my gear was worse than it is now. The reason is because we didn’t have an extended period of T4 farming before we went into T5.
And I wasn’t clearing it among the world first guilds back in 2007 or anything, it was just kinda the norm that you pretty much went straight into T5 after you were attuned, and since the attunement was also lifted reasonably early for T5 a lot of players didn’t even attune for it, they just did their initial dungeon/kara farming and did T4/T5 simultaneously…
What we have now is an extended period of T4 farming where people are just getting geared the teeth, and unlike in 2007 T5 isn’t available to progress. When it does get released everyone is gonna clear it the day it releases, because they are so overgeared.
Spellstrike sux for arcane. I crafted spellfire. I went in with 9k gold and farmed dungeons with a same group of naxx geared players. I also Still have 3 naxx pieces.
So you want arenas to be ruined for healing combos? Cause thats how youll ruin arenas for healing combos. And tbh, even if you released T5 content now, it would mean that in 2 weeks people would be crying out for T6 to be released and we would be in the same situation as now. There is no winning in this current gaming culture compared to 2007.
Why all people who farm Venezuelan gold with daddys help and rush all content in a few days, in a month of live of the game suggest everyone that we must go to the next phase when normal people still having only 100 - 200g before paying the 60% speed fly mount and only clear its first karas… I hate this mentality…
I don’t care about your arena issues. You’re playing TBC, I’m fed up of people crying for Blizzard to “fix” the inconvenient parts about TBC to their liking. Vanilla was poorly balanced with lots of “issues” and TBC is the same, every expansion has its own quirks and imbalances, perhaps none more-so than Shadowlands.
But TBC is a re-release so we can play it as it was, it does not need to be balanced and fixed, it’s there to be experienced. I don’t go back nagging Nintendo to fix things I don’t like about Mario 64.
We’re currently not experiencing TBC like we did in 2007 either way, but having an extended period where T5 is locked is a huge departure considering originally T5 was always available, from day 1.
That is not what I said, I said most players did T5 after attunement was lifted and they did it in worse gear than most people have now. T5 is going to be a joke pre-nerf or not, people were killing it on private servers with 100% buffed bosses, while also in worse gear than we have now.
Even though you knew when it was released, it wouldnt be released any sooner right? So why do you need to know when its gonna be released? People back in 2007 didnt know the things we know now and I guess they did just fine.
