Hi I need your help with the following points since I am new to healing as resto
I need to be able to heal just by mouseover. So I mouseover over the unit frames and I heal when I press the button. I do not need crazy macros not crazy addons. It might be somewhere in the settings already
I look for an easy addon to keep track of my cooldowns. Ideally I should be able to configure sounds few seconds before specific cds come of cooldown
Raid healing rotation is slightly different in icy veins and wowhead. Any comments ?
4… How do you use swiftmend? I understand that I need to have it ready so incarnation happpens during heavy damage. Very often though group members are not damaged. Shall I use it to trying to get close to the three charges?
i agree, also not a fan of crazy amounts of addons.
For healing i just use two addons: weakauras and Clique.
For the cooldowns i can recommend this weakaura, it shows your cooldowns and missing hots / adaptive swarm next to your cursor which is a big help for me.

For mouseover healing i use macros (harm,help) there are many guides, alternatively before i used macros i did everything with clique, which is awesome if you want to setup mouseover healing in less than a minute.
Mouse-over cast is already in the settings like someone suggested.
I would recommend weakaura for keeping track of a few things. Things you could track:
having lifebloom active
when innervate or potion is active
when cenarion ward is active (probably not using this in raid)
stacks of buff before you turn into a tree, so you can time it better
If you’re getting used to healing, the easiest is just a big and in your face icon for those weakauras
Macros can be really basic, like casting innervate on yourself so you don’t have to think about it.
Also, use innervate during ramp up and as often as possible. And make sure to use and time all your cooldowns. Learning the fights helps with managing your mana pool.
thanks I did a lot normal raids and now I have started with heroics. I was not able to find a simple weak aura so far so tracking my cds is not optimal to be honest.
Another question where do I get my raid tier sets? I was able to have a two items from normal raid but I have just “lost” it. I got some heroic items where they did not have the tier set effects and thus now I only have one instead of two
