Maybe you guys can google better than me. Looking for a new fun MMO ! Any other tips besides GW2 would be appreciated . Yes I know I am on WoW forums. Blizz dont mind what you post here since they dont respond or read any of these.
Looking for a relaxed MMO that you can play like 3 hours 3x a week and not fall behind too much.
Every MMO in development that is promising got delayed. Iirc nothing mention worthy will be released in 2021.
Amazon even delayed the date to announce the release date to the end of 2021.
I would say the only alternative is Final Fantasy currently.
Dont hope for New World. I played during the playtests for quite a bit and its a big lackluster fiesta. No depth combat with little choices will be the downfall of the Game.
I’d recommend you ESO if you havent already. Very good, relaxed ES transitioned multiplayer Game that can be played solo for a big portion of content too with the right build.
got 1500 hours in eso, since we are in pvp section, i can’t recommend it, mechanics are fine, combat is dynamic, i agree, but there is nothing behind it, there is no ranking, no progression, no arena etc.
MMORPGs unfortunately arent the genre if you want to focus on PvP.
I would rather invest time into a competitive shooter (CS or Overwatch, as toxic as it is), one of the big MOBAs or at the very least a fighting Game like Mortal Kombat or Tekken.
Although I heard some very good things about GW2 PvP and really like all the elite specs, I’ve yet to do more than a couple of arena matches and find the time when playing one char serious in WoW.
Waiting another MMO too, just don’t want to play SL, only login to play alts and doing some casual PvE stuff. Even can’t do casual BG - people just grind honor and AFK and don’t want to play. Ranked not worth it to spennd so many hours in LFG. No solo q, nothing to do.
Its more looks like WoD tbh, nothing to do, bots everywhere.
I don’t expect Alexandria Ocasio Cortez to release any time soon. It’s still pretty early in development.
Ah thanks for the heads up. Heard guild wars 2 was good but is now only 2 or 3 specs and a lot of bots so dont want to go there anymore and already completed all campaigns. Might give ESO another shot then. Thanks for the heads up and hope for blizzard to actually start caring about the game retail now !
