I’m looking for an untainted server to play on, where there aren’t any boosters and shady RMT going on.
So far I’ve tried all the medium and high pop servers, but all of them have this kind of problem. I just don’t want to associate with such people, but also want to be able to find like-minded players to do dungeons with.
Is there such a server or I should just go play another game?
Be nice if they did provide a handful of ‘hardcore’ servers with no boosts, RMT etc.
As well as that, give all mobs and bosses and certain % increase to all stats.
Be interesting to see how many players they attract. Quite a few probably.

Every server in wow classic and retail have RMT people buy accounts,gold,items and arena/rbg rank with real money even other services like ERP on RP servers. Good luck with finding a server that doesn’t have this and good luck for blizzard to police it.
The only solution is to to force everyone on a static IP then ban if it logs in elsewhere and to prevent any form of trading like auction house or trading players as you see this is completely unfeesable.
There be no way you can find a completely untainted server, unfortunately.
Do like Hexx and download Global Ignore List addon. I be seein’ no boost in chat. Find groups for dungeons easily, since Razorgore be BiS server.

Highly recommend Dragonfang if you don’t mind a slightly smaller server
It’s not a realm suggestion, but there is an addon called “Global Ignore List” that works like an absolute charm to filter out all the boosters and Gold sellers on your realm - and yes the addon has them muted even if you go on an alt so you don’t interact with them at any point.
I’d look into Dragonfang. There’s been several Reddit threads about it, and there was recently a new one for a new pre-patch wave of players leveling up their characters. It has a rather small, but tight-knit community. Boosting happens there as well, but it’s very rare compared to the ‘normal’ servers. According to people leveling there, bots are also very rare. I think the server attracts the people you are looking for, and because the population is smaller, it’s probably closer to the ‘Vanilla experience’. The more populated a server becomes, though, I suspect boosting, botting and RMT becomes more common.
If you google that realm 50% of search results is about the FRESH movement while the other 50% is gold selling via RMT. Sad.
10 storms server on alliance side, I were walking around in Ironforge for 10 min and met 1 player. And still in global chat 1 was spamming boosting services:d
Its easy , dont like boosts dont join them. I see no way why it would change someone elses game if people join boosts on your server.
Thanks everyone, I checked Dragonfang out, but so far there’s barely anyone leveling.
Maybe things will change when the prepatch hits, I will definitely start there if the population gets bumped up a little.
It’s so refreshing not having LFG 24/7 spammed into oblivion by these vile players.
And for anyone saying, just ignore them - it’s not a solution. They influence the whole community by encouraging new players to take the easy way, they support RMT and also are RMT-ers themselves and they make it so normal people can’t find groups.
And when these boosted players hit 60, they can’t even play their character because they were boosted all the way, they end up in your raid group and you have to carry them around.
