If it’s not Firemaw for Alliance and Gehennas for Horde I don’t see what else could be.
It seems as if hardcore progression guilds made their kills, lost the race and disbanded, casual guilds waiting for more ICC nerfs and clear only the easy bosses so are basically logged off after 1-2 days of ICC and barely anyone needs 10ppl ICC now. Maybe they went to SoD or upcoming holydays are dragging people out of the game for preparations. Anyway as of today we also have Ruby Sanctrum PTR and Season of Discovery, that took some audience away for a while.
Yep agree with you about Firemaw players, especially Tanks. Have had a few who are just DPS in disguise and moan when you don’t keep up cos you go out of mana over-healing and stop to regen then they whine and then pull and quit. Pity you cant “ignore” a server.
Is ES dying? It has 8k raiders atm it seems.
I was able to raid every week on my 3 chars back in Thekal when it had 2k pop. Do you know why? Because I had a solid rooster of regulars to raid with. OP is probably raiding with pugs that’s why is non active for him.
Earthshaker has about 8k raiding chars, there’s no other ally server on EU with more excepting firemaw ofc but we all know what firemaw is about.

I had a raid with a solid roster of regulars, never missed a reset since early Ulduar when it was formed to farm Valanyrs for some alts. We were happily progressing icc hardmodes with a 3,5h per week raid, on 10/12 hc last week with PP in last phase and about to die with a 5% buff for sure. Then last reset 10+ regulars just didn’t sign all at once. We went from ~30 signs to 17 and missing key roles.
“Keeping a solid roster” is all fine and dandy, but our group and many others are having perfect storm of masses of people leaving all at once. It doesn’t matter there’s 8k raiders, if they are split into discords of 15-20 people scrambling to find last 5, including a holy pala, an offtank and a dps shaman. Those replacements can only come from imploded guilds/pugs, and it’s an exceptionally painful process.
I am now reduced to going hat-in-hand from discord to discord, asking “Do you need a 6155 mage with blue parses and 11/12 hc experience?” And everybody being like “we’ll let you know 3h before raid time when the updated roster is published, in a meantime, don’t get saved”. It’s literally only momentum from going nonstop since 2019 that even keeps me going at all. I hate this game so very much.
That’s your personal experience. If so many people left at once then it wasn’t as solid maybe? Anyway you probably got me worng… I don’t raid with guilds, it only limits the capacity of getting replacements.
Firemaw pretty good, Plenty of SR pugs and communities raiding all the time.
ES is quite busy, but on weekdays dont expect to be able to heroic ICC raids starting at 2 AM or so.
You can pug most things on most days during primetime, average players online on this server at any time is definitely more than in the original WOTLK’s most busy servers (at this stage of the expansion).

But if you wanna transfer to the most crowded server, obviously Firemw Alliance and Kekhennas Horde.
Well I could join your guild! I got a 5.4k warrior with mostly bad parses, not sure about the Ilvl parse though, I have forgotten how to use those. I am also willing to spec arms so the other fury warriors can look extra good cleaving into the trauma debuff. In fact would prefer that, because playing arms in PVE is a lot of fun whereas playing Fury is very boring.
I also got a freshly dinged warlock, at 4K due to sitting on PVP gear, still got some old TBC stuff on him! Could spec anything wanted on that one.
And you dont see any correlation between guilds behaving like complete … And then having problem to fill sign ups ?
If idiots require logs even for Basic 4-6 hc bosses then ofc they are destined to die out/ complain they cannot fill rooster while trying to pug people 15 min before raid starts
Or if they are like ye we are looking for healers / dps but in reality we only want pala heals and shaman/druid dps nothing else .

Golemagg Horde still strong despite the huge drop off. They should really consider massive merges for the upcoming Cataclysm Classic. Two servers per region, that’s it.
