I’m playing Mistweaver at ~2250 right now but I’m really far from that MMR with Prevoker.
I was actually pretty decent with that spec when it released in Dragonflight early seasons, but I’ve gone back to it a week ago and it feels significantly weaker - even though I know it’s not because it’s apparently very opressive at the top of the ladder.
So it’s most likely a “me” issue, I may be doing the rotation completely wrong.
I echo/reversion the entire team with the highest uptime I can manage, I correctly use Verdant embrace to have it on all 3 team mates, but yeah. Once spiritbloom is on CD, and echo/reversion have been applied, it feels like no other healing spell in my toolkit does anything. They tickle.
I can barely manage to attack and be offensive because I’m spamming abilities that don’t bring my team mates’ HP back up at all.
Hey, im not pro. Gotten glad 2x tww and getting close atm in s3.
Its kinda hard to know without watching you play but in general heres som thoughts if they can help.
I start by using stasis in prep room followed by 2x spiritbloom, then when gates open in do 1 more. Then u have an aoe loh u can press in cc. After that i try to use ns fb or aura mastery sleep healer into ns fb. Then I use dt amd rescue while just spamming dmg until some1 gets low. Then u stasis. That will usually create alot of pressure.
When it comes to healing. Try use verdant to avoid cc aswell as healing. Echo reversion is a really strong heal because of the golden hour talent. Firebreath even emplvl 1 shoots out some nice dmg. Since echo spiritbloom does so much healing u can generally let ppl drop kinda low before you need to heal. U can try to sleep dps and healers in the meantime. Verdant +chrono flame is also pretty strong. Keep in mind esp in shuffle you want to stsy agressive as mich as u can, sleeping healers and try to do dmg. Its somewhat good to trade cds to stay offensive since all ur cds suck in high damp.
Hi, thanks for all the great tips.
Do you go full haste or do you play with mastery too?
As for PvP talents, I’m also not sure. I basically never play without unburduned flight and nullifying shroud.
For the third pick, which do you recommend? I love scouring flame, but dreamlker’s embrace and time stop seem decent as well…
I only learned yesterday that you can use a /cancelaura macro to trigger Stasis during CC. Good to know.
According to specs i go alot of haste, feels good, but i just copy the best out there. Waterboy-Stormreaver is my main evo. I just copied big boys like kanketo.
For pvp talents i think u will find ur own preferences after doing alot of games. I think playing shroud is always a must, then obsidian mettle along with purge is a good starter. THen u can play around with changing purge and mettle for other stuff, for example against double melee (not assa) like idk, warrior ret i never play mettle cuz i can usually get away, then i get more use on playing freedom + dreamwalkers.
Into assa obsidian feels like a must. Into rmp u can somewhat prestop goes with time stop, since mage feels unkillable now i dont play purge, but if ur team wants to go mage i guess its a good idea.
Against druid i always play big purge. Purge is nice cuz alot of healers has the “renew inceases healing blabla”.
