Any update on the “overperforming racial” adjustments?

Copying this from NA forums on the off chance that EU devs actually read the forums -

Alluding to the pre 11.1 interview with the devs that said there were still a couple of “overperforming racials” that they felt would be unfair to nerf mid-season.

Well season 2 rolled around and Night Elf (Shadowmeld) is still utterly dominating almost every spec that they can roll in pvp.

Playing a Tauren druid just feels so bad… 95% of all druids across pvp brackets in NA and EU are Night Elf. That’s how OP rake/stun is or meld/drink is.

Especially feels bad playing rogue or druid that have stealth abilities like rake/stun and “from stealth” abilities tied so prominently into a racial.

I guess the other racial the devs may have been referencing is the Dwarf racials.

Dwarf is again meta for most M+ specs (that can’t pick Nelf.) With their already strong crit damage modifier and being able to completely remove debufs, it’s no wonder that they have been default choice for so many specs for literally several expansions.

Any updates on this? Please nerf/tune/buff more racials to make them competative.

As it stand there are 2-3 solid race choices that are dominating the majority of end game competitive play, because of their “overperforming racials.” And they are all alliance.

NERF SHADOWMELD

Add to that being able to instantly drop combat and mount up to race to other objectives in BGB.

It’s the reason it’s so popular in that format for specs that wouldn’t even touch Night Elf.

It’s far and away the most useful racial for BGB.

Once you’ve played N’elf… trying to waddle out of combat so you can mount up is so annoying, knowing that on your Night Elf you can just press 1 macro and be mounted up.
