Unplug your speakers, I dunno. I keep hearing some “UUUURGGHHH” sound all the time near the profession workbenches on the lower platform.
That dragons have some sound ? Lmao …i don’t even notice
Just play some AC/DC and you will hardly notice it.
There might be a sound file you could replace somewhere.
There’s an addon called Leatrix Plus that among other things can mute certain sounds in the game. They’ve added the drakes to the Mute Mount Sounds options under System with a Dragonriding check box. There’s still the occasional mild growl, but no more mountspecial roaring and screeching or stomps upon landing.
I know many folks don’t like to use addons for stuff like this, but I’m afraid I have no idea how to get rid of these sounds manually.

If you stand still the dragon go crazy with barking - some dev though ot would be fun to put such thing in game but its annoying as hell.

Sometimes I’m tabbed out of the game to sit in queue for soloshuffle, but “effects” in the sound setting share the effects for queue pop with the dragons roaring constantly, so I have to hear the dragons all the time wile tabbed out, or I miss the queue sound… This should defo be fixed, OP is right.
Although the addon Mute Annoying WoW Sounds hasn’t been updated for Dragonflight, it apparently still works.

Just… dismount it? Hopefully they make it less frequent later but I find it kinda cute like “Comooon I wanna fly already!!”

It’s part of the reason why everyone has switched to Highland Drakes.
Aside from looking more dragon-y, its roar is at least a low pitch whenever it does it.
The Proto-Drake would screech high-pitch
Would give me a headache after a while, actual migrane.
