Any way to skip Spine of DW?

Is there a way to skip Spine of Deathwing yet?

Nope.
Probably wont ever be since its at the very end of the raid and a very easy fight.
Just a very very annoying one.
(I gave up on awake the drakes as I couldn’t stand that fight any more)

It’s the last mount I need and it’s just so freaking annoying because of cleave and killing the thing that explodes too soon.

I also wanted the ‘awake the drakes’ achievement and yes spine was a pain, but I Googled and found some guides and just kept running it.

I promise you it does get easier, took me 7 months before Blazing Drake dropped, so if you are unlucky like me, the downside is you will get so sick of DS and will probably never go in there again once you have the achievement

The RP is soooooo long on the top of Wyrmrest

I got experiment 12B from the raid at least… the second time it dropped for me hurt

Think I got it around 3 times during my runs, made me scream with frustration as I had all the mounts except the Blazing, I really did begin to believe they had taken it out of game and forgot to tell us :joy:

I was so happy when it eventually dropped and I swore after that I would never run DS again

Yup. You gotta watch a movie or a tv series while doing that raid. The drake platform makes me sad

I don’t even really like the emerald drake
I just wanted the achievement to beat my ex to it.
He won…

eh i can stomach spine but could we please get an option to skip all the long RP in this raid? Or any legacy raids at that rate  DS is the worst offender though.

That airship fight as well. There should be a skip portal added

I have too. It was the last one I needed but, despite dozens of tries, reading everything I could and watching countless videos, I’ve still never got past spine. Things like that panic me and I end up not concentrating and falling off. Every time.

install dbm legacy, it will show roll timer.
i just afk in the hole until lots of bloods spawn, so i can aoe them in one sweep, then gather stacks.

it’s easy but it can’t be overpowered to a point of one hit kill like the rest of legacy content.

Yes you can skip whole fight upto last boss.

You can skip to end boss with one account. This strategy won’t work with mythic difficulty.

Make raid save like on one char and never finish raid with that char. (exa: clear everything except Garrosh). I will call it raidlock char.

  1. Log in to raid lock char.
  2. Make group with whatever name in custom group finder.
  3. Log into fresh char and fly to that raid entrance. Apply to your own group and log out.
  4. Log in to raidlock char and accept.
  5. Log into fresh char and enter raid. Wait for lead transfer then kill boss.
  6. Do same process for rest of your alts.
  7. Don’t forget to extend raidlock every week.

No, after 10 years I did it - practice & practice & learn to left right a bit :rofl: Im so bad…

I hate Spine. It was great having to kill myself because Twilight Devastation kept killing the mob that needs to eat the blobs.

I don’t find it hard, I find it annoying due to the mechanics of the fight.

I had to die on my first attempt as my corruption tentacle popped up and started nuking things.

I always leave the tentacle in the back then cleave all the blobs at once and once you kill them you just kite the big add through their corpses. The big add doesnt have to be spawned or close when you’re killing blobs.

If I don’t get it before SL then corruption won’t be an issue.

It just annoys me that the raid takes so long as soon as you get to the top of Wyrmrest because of all the RP and crappy fight mechanics that were bearly fun back in the day
