Anybody else not liking charge & Intervine?

I think the WoW team’s done a good job with the class (at least from what I can tell during pre-patch), but I really miss my double charge :frowning: . Rumbling Earth is way better in M+ imo, but being able to double charge mobs is just so nice.

I’d be able to accept intervene as a replacement, if I had the bind space for it. I’ve got 25 easily accessible binds, and 5 harder to reach binds (Shift 1-5). Intervene can’t fit anywhere on there.

Anyone else feel the same way? Or is it RIP Double charge?

maybe that helps with space

not really. Back in time it was separated ( there was even a 3rd charge called intercept) so i don’t really feel odd using it

Yeah, I was around back then. Still would rather have double charge :’(

perhaps i am weird but i would like to have stances and macros back :frowning: now it feels…too simple

Really pleased to have it back, very useful ability in PvP! Great for hopping back to safety. Using intervene->assist>charge is also great for closing bigger gaps.

It works better with a macro. There are a few ways to do it. I prefer to automatically target a friendly mouseover target. That way i can hover over a friendly and intervene.

Others prefer to merge it with charge. Casting either charge OR intervene, depending on whether your target is currently friendly/hostile.

Awesome in PvE too. Really could decide to take IV in raid environment

Yeah, that’s how I’d prefer it.

Intervene is great now!
If you have problems adding more binds try this macro if you want to use it for Charge/Intervene/Hamstring.

#showtooltip Charge
/cancelaura Bladestorm
/cast [target=focus, modifier:Shift] Charge; Charge
/cast [target=mouseover] Intervene
/cast Hamstring

You can also save 3 more binds by having Shield Slam, Shield Block and Slam replace Rampage, Raging Blow and Siegebreaker when a shield is equipped by making a macro such as:

#showtooltip
/cast [equipped:Shields] Shield Slam; Rampage

It even changes the icon on the toolbar so all you need is a weapon swap macro.
