thinking of returning, just wondered if anyone does the old expacs? i missed out on a lot over the years due to ill health, work etc. almost finished TBC then doing the rest in order with my level locked. anyone else doing WOTLK soon? wouldnt mind some people to do the dungeons and stuff with

I always fancied the idea of RPing in old content. Like… RPing in the past. You have a good idea of what future lore will be. You can do more than just write your characters backstory, you can live it!
How cool does that sound?
I often pause XP at various levels and do loremaster at the level requirement for each zone. I have a lot of fun doing it. Maybe you should try that.
Just be warned, group quests can be a real ouch.

yeah i’m suprised there doesnt seem to be more of that tbh!
yeah there was a group quest in outland that nearly ended me til i got some help, the arena one? the last creatures in it were bugged so there was no way i could do it myself but i recruited a bunch of max levels to help me lol
something im trying to work out is how old raids work now with scaling and chromie time?
i dont expect many people are interested in doing the old stuff so i’ll probably be mostly a solo player but it’ll be fun going through the stories and lore

Old raids are not affected by chromie time. Buuut, if you get 5-10 levels above them, you should be able to blitz through them.
You used to commonly find guilds of people that paused their level to do old content. But I don’t know if people still do that.
cool cool, i’ll probably just hire a max level to run me through the raids when i hit the end of each expac lol
Yeah I think they do. With Chromie it became easier (and somewhat harder at the same time) because when doing dungeons sometimes not a lot of people are joining for example WOD dungeons so you are left waiting and then a pop up screen shows up asking if you wanna switch to other expansion dungeons.
As for Roleplay I love love love role playing in pandaria. It’s such a beautiful zone.

Awww thank you! I will consider going on my pandaren mage.
And don’t worry I get very nervous too. It’s hard to Roleplay with social anxiety.
Someone once asked me if I wanted to buy anything (as they were roleplaying a seller) I didn’t say anything and ran away 
But roleplaying is very fun. You learn to socialize with the years.
And people are very understanding with mistakes by new roleplayers

Actually, I used to RP for years and years and years. Over a decade even.
But… mental health issues got in the way.
Now it’s not so much about mistakes, but more… Meh, just issues.
A lot of people are generally good about stuff.
And don’t worry about running away. I’ll often stay in stealth for ages at RP events, just to observe. With an OOC message in my MRP saying “Too nervous to join, just observing. Have a lovely day”
