Anyone else just stopped renewing their sub?

I took a 2-3 week break.
I’ve been active since the middle of Shadowlands (I’ve been playing since then), but I just didn’t feel like doing anything.
This expansion is terrible, and this is where the bfa isle expedition (siren isle) comes in…

I usually keep my sub running cause i want to be able to login and play with my friends when i want to. These days im not playing much though, i just login twice a week to do m+ with my group and our guild saturday night raid. Im playing other games on the side.

To be honest, unsubscribing is the only input that they will really take into consideration.

So if you feel like nothing is interesting, then that’s what you should do.

Well they didn’t send anything for 20 :frowning:

I did unsub, for three years. Came back a couple of weeks ago and am currently levelling through Dragonflight.

I unsubbed because I was sick of what I felt was Blizzard’s greed. Greed in that, not only do they charge you full game price for each expansion, but then you have to pay AGAIN to play it. I’ve never come across any other game that does this and it really bothered me. It still does so I guess I’m weak but I missed the game and here I am. For now…

I will unsub again without hesitation when I decide I need another break.

It’s quite late in the tier, we do get the patch on Wednesday but if you’re not interested then you might as well enjoy a nice break from the game.

A lot of guildies are playing POE and other games atm.

I’m considering a break…
Not because of PoE, i dont play that.
It’s more because I feel WoW is stuck…
I hate the tradeskill system as it is now.
I am soo disapointed in how Delves was Implemented.
I feel there are too much focus on grinding Ilvls than actually exploring the world.
It’s just rush, chase ilvls, grind - new expansion/features then repeat.
I am playing games with focus on exploration with elements of simple crafting.

But the ring will easily tide people over to s2. A ring is so much content.

Yeah I agree. It feels in a bad place. Just tedious

If we did stop renewing, we wouldn’t be able to post on this forums.

Which, imo, is another example of Blizz’s greed.

I’m soooo weak! lol

Nothing wrong with taking a break. But there is plenty of stuff to do in the game. Maybe you could try doing something different than M+. Logging every day to bash my head against a M+ wall would burn me out too.

You could try a different spec, different char in easier dungeons.

Maybe do dome PvP, maybe even get some rating. I’m not a fan of Arena at all so Blitz has been a saving grace for me.

Currently, I’m working on the Mage-Bound Spelltome mount for completing every challenge in the Mage Tower. Today, I’ve finished leveling my last character. Tommorow, I might be done with gearing so Wednesday I should start trying the challenge.

I haven’t engaged with endgame content in a good while.

M+ is all I enjoy now…or did rather. Marvel Rivals is 10x as fun

I cancelled my sub 2 months ago, i get what your feeling. Ive been burnt out in the past and took a break, this time it feels…different, like i generally cba with anything or anyone in this game or community anymore.

started to do some 13s keys

that’s simple in a 13 key 3-5 deaths max then you can simply stop the game and deplete de key.

If you re not meta, good luck to play 13-14+ key (just forget about that)

If they dont fix M+ this game is definitely dead and its time to

UNSUB

I am uninterested in everything until Midnight and got bored of gearing, and I only do delves/world content for that. I have got months left of game time because I usually put in a year when a new expansion is out (not on renewal) - I might start just subbing for 3 months at a time. I usually have more fun doing old content stuff that end game tbh.

Are you referring to the game or peoples constant need to blog their every move and thought? If you want to quit just do it. Millions do every year and come back when they feel like the game has something to offer them again.

Tww made me renew my sub in all honestly.

It’s not perfect but, for me at least, dragonflight and tww are two wins in a row for blizzard. which… is terrifyingly rare as xpacs go.

That’s another point, people just seem more insufferable as time goes on. Probably because of the toxic game systems.

The vast majority of my gaming time goes towards Wuthering Waves and Genshin Impact — if I’m playing World of Warcraft and or if you see me on forums it’s because I’m watching a movie on Netflix or something.

This keeps me subbed because if World of Warcraft had my full attention I would probably quit.

My advice: play other games.
