Anyone else misses Burning Legion?

Okay i know everyone got sick of them at some point but I can’t help it. Sargeras and the demons were my favorite antagonists of WoW, both design wise and theme wise.

The Legion in TBC seemed scarier than the Legion in Legion…

The undead and the Legion.

The Legion expansion but with demons replaced with undead would be my perfect vision.

only horde heroes though

how about both ;DDDDD

Enemy is always scarier, when we can use our imagination to fill the gaps. In TBC we learned they are too powerful for us, and we only have faced fraction of their power.

In Legion they were less scary than my face in the mirror before coffee.

The Legion were always a joke, can’t say I miss them. Absolutely rubbish antagonists; they couldn’t even defeat farmers in Westfall. Westfall. They claimed to have conquered thousands of worlds, but when we go to those worlds via the portals on Argus, what do we find? Planets with no sentient beings, only some plant and animal life at best. And speaking of Argus, which they apparently had held for centuries, it’s a pile of rubble that can’t possibly hold any strategic importance.

So basically they had a great PR department, selling them as conquering bad-a invaders, but the leadership, support and troops were completely useless and not even worth noting down in history.

I love the Legion aesthetic. I still miss Argus.

I hope legion stays buried in the ground forever.

The death of archimonde is going on the account of the commander/general of lunarfall tho. Thats canon.

So who’s gonna be new commanders of legion now? I like legion.

None because they are pretty much non existent. All three of their leaders are either dead or imprisoned. Their main base of operation has been conquered. Them being reborn after dying outside the twisting nether (that means that every demon we killed in the nether is dead. Permanently) is taking alot longer now because of Argus (the titan) being destroyed and as such cannot be abused anymore to hasten the regeneration.

At best one of the Nathrezim would be one of the leaders now but with the Army of the Light (Or Yrels fanatics for that matter) running around its highly unlikely they could do anything.

Archimomde and Manoroth didn’t died in twisting nether and they still dead.

Archimonde died in the twisting nether (you are fighting him in the twisting nether on mythic difficulty and Mythic/old Heroic is always the canon story. Blame blizzard for making an cinematic that plays on lfr/norm/hc that is not canon in terms of archimonde). As for mannoroth: Not dead. Never died in the nether. Will take ages to regenerate because of his strength (same with archimonde or KJ requiring a freaking long time to regenerate would they have been killed outside the Nether. Argus hastened the process by alot tho). Azgalor got ressurected as well and since Manoroth is stronger then him you can guess the rest.

well techincaly there is lots of leutenants left, who can take over, eighter they are regenerating now, or still alive somewhere else, but thing is, they have no real agenda now to attack Azeroth atleast, becuse none of the leaders who realy wanted to do it is alive, unless some eredar takes over who we missed and want revenge on the dranei.
the other demons have no real use to take over Azeroth as hole, maby some Nazerhim, could try to take over a faction or something still but a full scale invasion, is not something they could do even now.
and even if Kiljaden would come alive again, I doubt he seeks revenge anyways, heck he might even try to redeem him self now, when he realiced Velen was right and he was wrong, Archimonde would probably try to attack, but as stated both where killed in the twisting nether and that for can not come alive.
the other ones simply do not have the support to do so now, Mannoroth might have if he managed to get some new race to drink the demon blood, but then again how would they even get to Azeroth now.

so smal smal demon infections can happen, but not much more, unless Sargeras already had some other titan on his side, hiding somewhere who continues his work, what kind of could be plausible.

I am talking about Warcraft 3 not WoD with some IF this happened timeline.

Not one bit.

Krona ki cristorr!

I like green but the “Legion green” is indeed a bit annoying after a bit to look at.
