The new customizations coming in shadowlands look really bad on human… And no im not a racist etc, it just looks way too realistic, almost like sims characters.
Is it just me?

I think all the new customization looks cool, human ethnicities, all trolls varieties, tattoos for dwarves, different levels of decay for undead etc, it looks wicked.

Look realistic? Seriously, not even close. What probably made you think about this that just how much they’ve been able to make the models look more higher quality. If they also add more polygons to the female dreanei and nelf faces, make them more higher quality, give them more diversity, I’m sold.

Why is it bad they look like Sims characters? Havent we been asking for more customization for ages? Since when did Sims characters looking realistic? They have a vaguely similar artstyle to WoW in general tbh.

I’m in the “do not care” camp. Being able to change eye colour on my human is plenty, but even that’s kind of redundant seeing as I always wear a fully concealing helmet. Overall I thought the faces looked like an improvement as the current batch is bad imo.
But as has been pointed out, 1 slide worth of presentation material doesn’t really tell us all that much.
That awkward moment when humans get elliptical eyes before nightborne.

I like them, but it doesn’t fit in-game well. Only the player (unless blizzard go back and change some NPC’s) can be certain ethnicities. It would be cool, if they went back and made Humans from certain areas a particular ethnicity. Then again there aren’t enough Human cities to say, these humans were this culture/ethnicity etc.

Are these heads all info we have? Not much to make a review of… I’m cool with realistic ethnicity. Been thinking we have all kinds of antropomorphic races to choose from with green and purple skin, even fur, but all humans have been caucasian. The lore dilemma then? Well, I don’t really care, let them just turn up.
I hope for more hairstyles and colours, jewellery, makeup and very much like to change body size and posture. I wouldn’t mind making a hunchback female with grey messy hair, makes a perfect old crone of Wicca.
