started playing wow for the first time few weeks back. levelled a ret pally to 60 really wish i had started playing sooner…
anyway, i was wondering would it be looked down upon to choose a panda warrior , i’ve already created one and want it to be my main character as i like their animations and story (imo) ive noticed just about every panda around me is a monk or other spec. wondering if i am missing something.

I mained Panda warrior since legion. The female chr looks more beef than the male. Better shape, better muscle. It’s a cool model for a figther. I’ve enjoyed it always. The racials are good for raiding and for pvp. Nothing to complain about and only positive things to say.
There’s some hatred from Asmongold’s stream. Sometimes, toxic players whine on you for playing panda. But the truth is the panda is a very cool race. Works very well for all warrior specs.
They have been historically rather rare, as some people felt that the panda thing was too lame, some thought it was like the kung fu panda films ( understandably…) and some felt that it was blizzard bowing to the growing chinese market, but as time wears on they have become less frowned upon.
Play what you like dude, disregard the opinions of others - especially randomers online!

I love panda 2hand animations, but i can’t stand the chubby look, maybe if blizz updates the model and give us a “decent” panda model ill give it a try, but right now ill stay with my gnome
