Yep, was stuck on retrieving character list and had to end task. Then was stuck on retrieving realm list. Manually selected my realm and now back to stuck on retrieving character list.

same here, was booted from a m+ 15 mins ago, cant login back always Retrieving character list.
tried 2 pcā€™s and 2 different internet connections, problem still persists

I got disconnected from the service Iā€™m paying monthly subscription for, and at the beginning of the season to boot!

Blizzard, provide ETA for fix and compensation!

Yup, first pack in an M+ and disconnected, now unable to log in for 45 minutes so far. That group is going to be upset with me.

Kicked me out of dungeon on draenor, needed to reselect realm, then stuck on empty character select.
Restarted pc, 2 patches
Same issue.

Different account, same issue.

I was doing a delve, crashed, got ā€œdisconnected from serverā€ and Iā€™m stuck on ā€œretrieving character listā€ ever since ā€¦ 30 minutes has passed. Nice :slight_smile: I hope they add these minutes/hours into my subscription plan :wink:

Same problem here.
My wife plays without problem on the same connection, so this probably is a server-side thing.
I did get some sort of update of the game shortly before, so it might be related.

Yeah same here unable to get to the character select screen at all, good it know itā€™s nothing on my end, I was doing my timewalking too before I got booted.

Dear Blizzard Entertainment & Microsoft,

Iā€™d like to provide you with this official notice, that I was fully completing Heroic & Mythic version of the new raid and this error happened, at the exact moment, that I was looting every single boss!

So I would request, that I am given credit for World First kills on the last remaining 4 bosses, give all loot that drops from each boss, as I was soloā€™ing the raids.

If my demands are not met, nothing will happen because this is a joke, yet some people will not read this last paragraph and instantly say I need to get outside more often or something else to do with fish and a cheese grater!
