It’s not really classic, so we may aswell get some of the goodies, such as AoE-looting.

The only thing that I really miss is the “new mails” icon in the character selection. It wouldnt have any impact ingame and would be really nice to have. However, if I had the choice, I would prefer an authentic recreation of expansions over many changes of which I only like few of.

Authentic experience is 60% speed fly and 3sc casting for example, i don’t think it’s a good experience
You can use Leatrix Plus and enable speedlooting (bind Interact with objects to mousewheel) or use SpeedyAutoLoot addon. Not the same, but it speeds up your looting, especially when there are few corpses on the ground.
I can already imagine the skinners stealing all ur skinnables after you mass looted all the bunch of skinnables you just killed for the purpose of getting leather fast 
While you’re at it, add Transmog together with a ‘toggle display of transmogrified gear’ on/off to please the crybabies, who still live in 2005 and do their journey while making friends along the way.
There’s no need for me to look like a circus clown whos killing buzzards in hellfire penninsula.
I know that Blizzard are not the brightest stars in the sky anymore but if you look up any popular mod-able SP RPG you’ll realize that the most endorsed mods are visual mods, that should give you SOME kind of hint what people want.
If I can’t stand looking at my character, I also can’t resist to alt f4 and press cancel subscription.
And please…LFD…it’s not 2005…there’s nothing to figure out, no excitement in running to SM for the 10000th time, it’s the rule of the meta and LFD is not only huge QoL but also the only way to make sure rogues, hunters and ‘shtspecs’ can get into instances.

Opt-in transmog would make me so happy. If you don’t want to see transmog, you never will. Everyone else can “take off the clown suit” and enjoy wearing the gear sets they like. It would breathe some life back into older content as well
I don’t wanted transmog but if it can give me more chance to group for old raid content then i’m ok with that.
Because currently nobody want to do the old raid content, so it’s hard to farm stuff, reput and achiev
Not a fan of changes bud realistically this change has absolutely zero impact on any other part of the game or other players, so I guess yeah why not

As long as it’s opt-in and I can choose to see people as they are actually geared, I don’t care one bit. You can have your barbie doll dress up room 
Wouldn’t mind AoE loot either, but that actually does impact the gameplay in a significant manner, so I can understand the against side very well also.

They get a Pay to Win boost that allows them to skip 95% if the game’s content, yet they’re still not satisfied - it’s still ‘not convenient enough’.
They get a speed levelling boost that allows them to race through 95% of the game’s content at absolutely breakneck speed - it’s still ‘not convenient enough’.
Now they feel that taking two seconds to loot a mob ‘takes too long’, and ‘isn’t convenient enough’, so here they are demanding more instant gratification crap that should never exist outside the car crash of retail WoW.
… and if they get their wish in this, it still won’t be enough… they’ll demand more…more convenience, more speed, more skipping… Faster, faster FASTER FASTER FASTERFASTERFASTER!
