It is always people who have achieved nothing in the game, saying that achievements in the game mean nothing. kekw
I am happy to hear that this is not going on the trading post. I didn’t think they would open the flood gates in this way as it makes no sense to add something that was achieved in a raid to the TP.
I am not against mounts being brought back but no way do i think its okay to add them to the TP, people who are making demands for these mounts want them for free and want to put no effort into obtaining them.
Sorry but WoW has never been that kind of game and regardless of people paying for boosts not everyone does that.
I think if mounts like that are made obtainable again they should be done so in a comparable way to how they were obtained originally, the sheer amount of entitled people in this game is astounding.
Fresh designs are better for Trading Post. Most of the mounts in the game are obtainable. I had the gong quest done at the start of TBC but missed new server openings. I could be one of the Scarab Lords but yeah some things must stay as it’s. Seasonal rewards mostly get unobtainable. But there could be recolours for us to obtain. Shadowlands glad mounts were pretty awesome. Also why not put recolour rewards of Glad mounts to 2v2 and rated bg? It would make 2v2 and rated bgs more attractive to players. Oh we have also solo shuffle
It was never simply the issue of an item being a previous AoTC reward.
The real issue was Blizzard setting a precedent for the future: where were they going to draw the line at with the Trading Post rewards? At what point should other “feats of strength” become synonymous with logging into WoW and frolicking around in Elwynn Forest picking dandelions?
well said.
we need to stop catering to the people that want everything for no amount of work
or else we end up with a lack of motivation to play … knowing its all pointless and has no value
achievements by name… are Achievements. you need to ACHIEVE them
Already happened with another mount on the trading post “Friends In Places Yet Even Higher Than That” the Cindermane mount so your point is kind of redundant.
You were saying
Nope, never said they shouldn’t. I asked at what point. A paid mount is fine by all means to be listed onto the Trading Post even if it is part of a FoS.
A lot of people paid for the curve so you get what i am saying?
That doesn’t make it paid. Somebody still had to take their time out to boost you. Work simply got reallocated.
And a lot of people didn’t? Just because boosting takes place in WoW doesn’t mean that the majority of the player base actually does it, i have friends that are not the greatest of players who work hard to obtain these time limited mounts and it takes them a lot of work.
I am not exactly a cutting edge player but if i see something that is time limited and want it i will work for it - e.g. i wanted the ports to the mythic plus dungeons this season and i got them all except the mega dungeon because i find them both quite hard on mythic 20. Did i pay for a boost? no… and i wont either if i don’t get those feats of strength them i am sure i will get over it.
completely missed the point of my post oh well nevermind
like all posters you move the goal posts to suit your needs
a recruit a friend mount is not comparable to AOTC or CE
its literally buy a new account pay for sub, wait a month for rewards.
its nothing in terms of skill
Nope, I am just replying to your examples. You giving terrible examples to back up your argument is not my issue.

But you logged on and got it for nothing?

well your sat there wearing t3 which you didnt earn in vanilla so yeah keep moving the goal posts the 2 of you.
Fail to see how i missed the point…
In your mind a curve mount should be treated the same as a store mount just because people offer boosting services in the game…
That is not how the game works and clearly Blizzard agrees because this mount is not going to be a freebie which is why people like you are up in arms.
Sorry but somethings you have to work for in WoW which has always been the case right from the beginning. You want Benediction? You had to raid Molten Core to get the item to create the priest weapon.
Said weapon and the hunter one was removed from the game, should i demand it be added back into the game because i want it? No because again that isn’t how the game works.
Curve is not the same as store mounts, or RAF mounts - you may want it to be that way but it isn’t.
Also you clearly don’t play the game much, you have 65 mounts and 5k achievements, maybe play the game a bit more and collect some of the actual obtainable mounts as there are plenty in the game which i would argue are way nicer than the wolf - ashes of alar as an example or sha of anger mount.

s why people like you are up in arms.
I have the mount and i dont care who gets it

Also you clearly don’t play the game much, you have 65 mounts and 5k achievements, maybe play the game a bit
hidden char bit like yours really so another pointless comment.can easily look on my shaman take a screenshot for you if you like.
I did earn my tier 3 in vanilla check my weapon mogs

But you logged on and got it for nothing?
exactly. it was pointless. and devalued it. but its not TIED TO SKILL
i wasn’t required to kill an end patch boss in a certain patch
if you are trying to point flaws in the logic, don’t point fingers at me if you are salty , point fingers at blizzard for reducing its value by adding it to the Trade post
this is a great example of what will happen if AOTC or CE mounts are added to trade post.
you have indirectly proven my point.

I did earn my tier 3 in vanilla check my weapon mogs
iam talking to the pala not everything is about you

I have the mount and i dont care who gets it
Even on a hidden char i can still see your mounts… you don’t have that mount so stop being a fibber!
